James Cathedral Choir invites all who have a love and appreciation for traditional choral and catholic liturgical music to join our wonderful fellowship of song. The choir is under the direction of Adam J. Brakel, Director of Music for the Orlando Diocese and Music Director for St. James Cathedral, and Elizabeth Jennings, Assistant Music Director for St. The 40+ member choir is comprised of vocali

sts of varying musical backgrounds and experience who all have a love for singing traditional choral works that ground and help inform the liturgical experience at Mass. The choir also performs 2-3 concerts a year consisting of Christmas and spring concerts and often a special concert to highlight a famous musical work by a well-known composer.

Join us for our annual Candlelight Christmas Concert as we begin a night of prayer. Our Concert featuring all the St. James Choirs begins at 7:00 PM. Stay for prayer and reflection as post the concert, 24 hours of Eucharistic Adoration begin.

Join us as we listen to Adam Brakel play on our Schoenstein organ! The concert will be on October 28, 2022 at 7:30 at the Basilica. Glorify the Lord as you listen to His music.

St. James Annual Candlelight Christmas Concert will take place on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 7:00 P.M. at St. James Cathedral. This concert will feature all of the choirs of St. James.

Hi All! On Friday, May 14th at 7 p.m., the St. James Cathedral Choir will perform a Welcome Back Concert. This concert will feature works of Lauridsen, Liszt, Christiansen, Wilberg and the monumental Mass in E-flat of Joseph Rheinberger for double choir. Please come and support these fantastic singers and enjoy the first live concert in the Cathedral in seventeen months. Again, this is on Friday, May 14th at 7 p.m. A free will offering will be collected for the St. James Friends of the Music Ministry.
