There is something powerful that happens when the people of God come together. Corporate worship is more than hearing a sermon or singing along with a worship team. It’s fellowship. It’s agreement. It’s encouragement. It’s praying for one another, worshipping beside one another, and experiencing the presence of God together.

We absolutely understand that there are times when circumstances beyond your control make getting to church impossible. That’s why we’re grateful for technology and why we’ll continue providing an online worship experience. Online ministry is a blessing—but whenever you CAN be in the room, make being in the room the priority.

Don’t allow convenience to replace community. Don’t let watching become your permanent substitute for gathering. There are some things you experience differently when you’re IN THE HOUSE!

So yes, if you have to connect online, CONNECT! But if you CAN get up and GO to church…

In a day and time when people would rather “view” you than “visit” you, I’ve been thinking about how often we wait until it’s too late to show people how much they mean to us.

Someone can die, and people will stop what they’re doing, change their plans, rearrange schedules, and travel by planes, trains, and automobiles just to stand over a cold, lifeless body. We’ll cry, bring flowers, share memories, and say, “We’ve got to do better.” Yet somehow, we won’t always make that same sacrifice to show up for people while they’re still alive to feel the love.

Tomorrow, we’re giving flowers while she can still smell them. ❤️

We’re celebrating our miracle—my wife, Lady Nicola Odom!

She’s humble. She’s real. She’s an intercessor. She loves God, loves people, and she allows me to pastor and carry the weight of ministry without complaining. She has stood with me, prayed for me, covered me, and sacrificed in ways most people will never know.

So tomorrow, we’re going to SHOW UP and celebrate her LIFE!
