There’s so much more than just enduring a crisis in our lives…because there are lessons to be learned in them.

One of the things that can hold God’s people back in life is failing to see those lessons.

Not necessarily because of sin, but because we try our hardest to escape pain as quickly as possible. So we miss what God is trying to teach us in the midst of the pain.

You might be in crisis, pain, or a struggle right now. Take a deep breath, trust that God is with you through it all, and then ask Him to show you what He wants to teach you today.

There’s a difference between knowing what’s right and living what’s right. That difference is: wisdom; and the Bible teaches us all about it.

Proverbs 8, specifically, shows us how wisdom invites every one of us to itself, and how our lives can be radically changed when we receive it.

Some people just want God to fix their problems and get them through the day. But God wants to do so much more in our lives!

And He CAN do so much more if we just give Him the chance to do so. He can give us things that last a lifetime and that sustain us through the rest of our days.

Forgiveness = Freedom❕

Jesus came to this earth to free us from things like anger, bitterness, and sadness. And one way we live in that freedom is by forgiving others who have hurt us.

When we can learn to detach ourselves from the person, and the situation, that hurt us then we have learned to forgive, and we have found freedom.

Let’s all keep students and school staff in our prayers as they head back this week for a new school year 📚🚌

Pray for teachers and ALL school staff, that they are invigorated with an excitement to teach/lead and are filled with wisdom in how they do that.

Pray for students, that they have a desire to learn and grow throughout the year, both in their studies and in their character.

And a big thank you goes to school teachers, staff, and leadership for investing in the next generation! We are so grateful for the work you do.
