Orlando Chapter GMWA

Orlando Chapter GMWA GMWA was founded by the Late Rev. James Cleveland. For Cleveland, gospel music is so vital that in 1968 he organized the first Gospel Music Workshop of America.

Designed both to help preserve the gospel tradition and to feature new talent. The Orlando Chapter has maintained a consistent attendance at the GMWA National Conventions hosted throughout the USA, for the last 37 years. The founder of the Orlando Chapter is Dr. Mrs. Rutha White.
