We encourage group discussions about anything and everything, related to our faith or not. More so than with many other groups, WOW is a family! While sometimes we may (and often do!) disagree with one another, we ALWAYS show the utmost respect for one another's beliefs and ideas. Feel free to voice your opinions here on the site and at our events - you will be respected for them. But please also
be respectful of others and their opinions. We are all children of the God and Goddess and must treat each other with the same reverence of which we hold deity…for we are all deity…we are all part of the One. Part of what makes WOW so special, is that we are all on a Pagan path of one form or another but can gather together for a common goal. We look out for one another, and we share our journey together. From time to time there may be some "off-color" humor, or jokes that are more "adult" in nature. Decisions regarding acceptability will be made by the moderator, but we hope no such decision ever has to be made. Try to exercise good taste, and remember the varied audience that will be reading your posts and who attend the meetups. We are a family friendly group, keeping in mind that children will not be reading posts on the site, but may be in attendance at meetups and rituals. Q: Is WOW a coven? we are not a coven. We are a social meetup group that provides community events for Witches and Pagans of all paths and traditions without having to belong to a coven. We do not discriminate, nor do we require anyone to be initiated and committed only to our group. We are an open and loving group and welcome all in perfect love and perfect trust. We share in activities as if we were a coven (rituals, studies, informational group gatherings [meetups]), but do not expect our members to place our group above family, friends, and/or career. MaeMoon is a Romuvan Kitchen Witch originally from Wisconsin. She is an ordained minister and a notary public for the state of Florida granting her permission to officiate and legalize handfastings and marriages. She is also an Elder and a High Priestess of the Sacred Grove. MaeMoon is passionate about WOW and enjoys spending time with long-time members and getting to know new ones. Her ancestry gives her a special vision in oneiromancy. She is also well versed in the Tarot and reads runes. She facilitates A Year and a Day class for members of WOW wanting to get a solid basis in the Old Ways of the Wise. Kat Cain is the level headed one, a Libra and nurse, she’s a natural healer and listener. She hails from New England area and has been in Florida for more than 20 years now. Starting in 2009, members of W.O.W. have gathered together at least for a birthday celebration once a year. The first year it was in Magnolia Park in Apopka, FL.
