🌱 Look at our progress!

Thank you to everyone who came out today. The Luther Lane Community Garden is really starting to take shape!

Join us on Saturday, June 27, from 7:00–10:00 AM as we work to finish laying landscape fabric and spreading mulch before taking a break over the Fourth of July weekend.

Can’t do heavy lifting? We have lighter tasks, too, and every helping hand makes a difference.

Students can earn community service hours. Come for an hour or stay all morning.

Depending on the weather, we may also add an evening work session this week for those who can’t make it in the morning. Send us a DM and we’ll work something out!

The garden beds will be opening to the community soon, and we’re excited to continue growing this space together.

A little progress each week. 🌱

Thank you to everyone helping revive the Luther Lane Community Garden. We’d love to see a few more hands on June 20 and June 27 from 7:00–10:00 AM.

Spotlight: Miriam Zella
Miriam Zella grew up in Ohio and Pennsylvania. She attended Luther College. Is a mom of 3 kids, grandma of 6 and great grandma of 3. Church life has always been important to her as her father was a Lutheran Pastor. Miriam was first made a deacon in October 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kissimmee. Reinstating her diaconate was both a pleasure and an honor. As a Synod Parish Deacon, Miriam is a model of generosity and support. She is always ready to jump in and help and always has a hug ready when things are tough.

🌱 Garden Revival – Week 2 🌱

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning!

Karin planted a beautiful new pollinator bed to support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. 🐝🦋 We also weed-whacked, laid landscape fabric, and spread mulch as we continue restoring our community garden.

Each week brings a little more progress, and we’re excited to keep growing together. Join us next week as we continue the work!
