This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series: The Beloved Community.

In a world often divided by differences, Jesus asks us a powerful question: Who is my neighbor? Through the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37), we will explore how God's love calls us to move beyond fear, prejudice, and boundaries to embrace compassion, justice, and radical hospitality.

The Beloved Community is God's vision for a world where every person is valued, every voice is heard, and love guides our actions. Join us as we discover how we can become neighbors to all whom God places in our path.

Joyful Returns 🌾

This Sunday, we celebrate the joy of the seventy-two disciples returning from their mission, amazed by what God had done through them. Their story reminds us that God works through ordinary people who are willing to answer the call.

Join us as we explore how serving Christ brings purpose, hope, and joy.

Join us this Sunday at Azalea Park United Methodist Church!

This Sunday, Pastor Stanley will continue our sermon series with:

“Lord of the Harvest”
Based on Matthew 9:35–38

Jesus looked at the crowds and had compassion because they were weary, confused, and searching for hope. In a time when many people feel disconnected from church or unsure where they belong, Christ still calls us to see our neighbors with compassion and love.

The harvest is great, and God is still calling workers into the field.

This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series: Jesus Is Lord, inspired by Bishop Tom Berlin’s book of the same name.

Our first message is titled “Jesus Is My Lord” and is based on Philippians 2:1–11.

In this powerful passage, we are reminded that Jesus, though equal with God, did not cling to power or privilege. Instead, he humbled himself, took the form of a servant, and gave his life in obedience to God.

To say “Jesus is Lord” is more than a statement of faith. It is a way of life. It means allowing Christ to shape our attitudes, priorities, relationships, and actions. If Jesus is truly our Lord, then we are called to follow his example of humility, compassion, service, and love.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on what it means to personally confess:
Jesus is my Lord.

What if the people already in our church are exactly the people God wants to use?

This Sunday, we reflect on 1 Corintios 12:12–14, 22–27 and the powerful truth that we are one body with many parts. Every person matters. Every role is essential. Even those who feel unseen are indispensable in God’s design.

Join us as we discover what it means to embrace the people God gives us and live as a community where we care, grow, and rejoice together.

You belong. You are needed.
