The Sermon Today Is By Pastor Stanley Ramos

09/05/2026

Join us this Sunday as we begin a new sermon series, “The Altogether Christian.”

In our first message, “The Altogether Heart: What Do I Really Want?”, we will reflect on Mark 12:28–34, where Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

John Wesley challenged Christians to move beyond an “almost” faith toward an altogether faith—a faith that does more than shape our outward actions, but transforms us from within.

This Sunday we will ask: What do I really want? What is shaping my heart? Is my faith becoming more alive, more loving, and more like Christ?

Come worship with us as we begin this journey of becoming altogether His.

This Sunday at Azalea Park United Methodist Church, we continue our sermon series “Alive for God’s Glory: Walking with Ephesians” with:

“God’s Secret Plan”
Ephesians 3:6–12

What is the mystery Paul says God has now revealed? It is this: in Christ, people once divided are welcomed into one family, one body, and one shared promise.

Drawing from N. T. Wright’s The Vision of Ephesians, we will explore how the church is called to become a living witness of God’s reconciliation, wisdom, and love in the world.

Come discover how we are part of God’s secret plan.

This Sunday, we continue our journey through Ephesians with Week Two: Christ Is Our Peace.

Ephesians 2:11–22

Paul reminds us that through the cross, Jesus has not only reconciled us to God—He has also broken down the walls that divide us from one another. In Christ, strangers become family, outsiders become citizens, and we are being built together into one living temple.

This Sunday we’ll ask an important question:

What walls in our community have become so familiar that we no longer recognize them as walls?

Come worship with us as we celebrate the good news that Jesus has broken down the walls that divide us.

Christ is our peace.
