Wow, 4 years ago today many of us were reuniting for the first time in well over a decade. With much preparation, lots of sweat (we do live in Florida) but a heart full of LOVE, many gathered to reminisce..."There was a little church on 116th and 3rd, where the Spirit was alive and they preached the truth"....Who wants another reunion? Another beautiful Church of God pioneer went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Our condolence the Hita/Lugo.
Abigail Hita, 86, of St Petersburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico September 17, 1928, she lived in Florida since 1988. Abigail was previously from Plattekill, New York.
She was a faithful member of Praise Cathedral Church Of God, Pinellas Park, Florida.
Abigail enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, cross word puzzles and spending time at family functions.
She was predeceased by her parents Juan L and Isabel Lugo; sister Elizabeth and brothers John and recently Benjamin.
Surviving are her children
H.Vincent Hita Jr. of St. Petersburg and Nancy L (Frank) Fowler of East Syracuse, New York. Sisters Persis Collazo of St. Petersburg and Hulda (Ismael ) Escanio of Plattekill, New York. Grandchildren Frank Vincent; Jaclyn and Ligia Fowler and Travis Hita. Many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Calling hours and going home service Tuesday, December 30th beginning at 10am at Praise Cathedral ; 4371 76 th Ave; Pinellas Park, Florida.
