✨“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

At Christmas, we remember that God did not remain distant. He came near — born as a child, bringing light, peace, salvation and hope to the world.

That same miracle is unfolding today as people encounter Scripture in their own heart languages. One pastor and Bible translator recently described the moment his community heard God’s Word for the first time:

“Words are not enough to describe the joy overflowing in our hearts… Reading the Word of God in our mother tongue brought us to tears — from the realization that God speaks our language too.”
