Mother’s Day Message at “The Mount”

Sermon Scriptures: 2 Kings 4:9–27

Sermon Title: A Mother Who Made Room for a Miracle”

A godly matriarch is:
A builder of faith
A keeper of wisdom
A protector of legacy
A nurturer of generations

Point 1: The Matriarch’s Discernemt
Point 2: The Matriarch’s Devastation
Point 3: The Marriarch’s Determination

Summary:

Some of us are alive because a mother covered us in prayer.
Some of us escaped destruction because a grandmother interceded.
Some of us survived dark seasons because a female figure refused to give up on us.

Thank God for the Matriarch of our family! ❤️

Today, we pause to honor a giant in faith, freedom, and fearless advocacy — Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Rev. Jesse Jackson has transitioned from labor to reward and entered into Omega rest. A preacher with a prophetic voice, a leader with unwavering conviction, and a relentless fighter for civil rights and social justice — his life was a sermon in motion.

From the pulpit to the public square, he challenged injustice, confronted inequality, and reminded America that hope is never canceled. He stood for the marginalized, marched for the oppressed, and spoke truth to power — even when it was unpopular.

His legacy is not just in speeches, but in sacrifice.
Not just in words, but in works.
Not just in history books, but in the hearts of those who dare to believe in justice for all.

Now the mantle falls to us.

We must continue the fight for equality.
We must continue the work of justice.
We must continue to love boldly, lead courageously, and stand unapologetically for what is right.

“Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”

Rest in power. Rest in glory. Rest in Omega peace.
