Right before Easter Deals! Lake Hill Baptist Church Yard Sale This Friday and Saturday (March 29, 30). Come early for great deals and benefit the church. Friday, 9 AM -12 PM. Saturday, 8 AM - 12 PM. Variety of housewares, Clothes and some Hardware. SOME NEW, SOME USED. Probably some food too. Come and enjoy.

Dollar General has great sales on school supply items. The sale runs til Sept 5th.

Crayola crayons are 0.50 cents a box. If you don't see them ask the clerk. They have displays of the at different points in store.

Glue: 0.25 a bottle
Wire notebooks: 3 for $1.00
Pencils:2 for $1.00

These are great items for the School Supply drive at Lake Hill Baptist :-)

As many of you with children know, the dreaded “back to school shopping” is right around the corner. It is unfortunate that this expense is not something that many parents are able to easily shoulder.

That is the reason that I thought this may be a great opportunity to give back to our community. We plan to have a school supply drive. I have attached a list of the most common supplies ( found on OCPS website for all grades). If you would like to donate any supplies, there will be a collection box in back of the church.

If you know of a parent who is having a difficult time right now and may be in need please let me know as I plan to keep an ongoing list so that we can be sure our supply will equal our demand.

OLDAKER, JOHN AND YVONNE. John Oldaker, age 76, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. He was born Sept. 22, 1936 in Oakdale, TN. Yvonne Oldaker, 70, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born Jan. 25, 1943 in Richmond, VA. Mr. and Mrs. Oldaker are survived by their daughter, Tori Pearl of Casselberry; son, Johnny Oldaker of Apopka; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. John is also survived by one sister, Sammie Yurcisin. Yvonne is also survived by three brothers, Gene, Ronnie and Gary Bryant, and a sister, Vicky Lowe.

Visitation for both John and Yvonne will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM, with Funeral Services to immediately follow at 11 AM. Both will be held at Lake Hill Baptist Church, 301 S. Hudson St., Orlando. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Hill Baptist Church in their honor. Services entrusted to
