📢 Qurbani (Sacrifice) Announcement
Dear Al-Bukhari Islamic Center Community,
Allah سبحانه وتعالى says in the Qur’an:
﴿فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ﴾
“So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.”
(Surah Al-Kawthar, 108:2)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
«مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَمَلًا أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ إِهْرَاقِ الدَّمِ»
“On the Day of Sacrifice, no deed of the son of Adam is more beloved to Allah than shedding blood (of a sacrifice).”
(Jami at-Tirmidhi)
Alhamdulillah, for the past 10 years, we have been performing this important act of worship together, and it continues to grow each year.
