We are called to the Great Commission! As the Church of Christ, we have a mission to be salt and light. The light illuminates and shows the truth about life, its origin, salvation in Jesus Christ, the destiny and purpose of human beings. Therefore, we must not settle down on pews, sheltered between the comfortable walls of the temple.
Like salt, we must make a difference and show the way by following it. Your truth and your life with Christ, without religiosity and hypocrisy, transmit the testimony of faith that you follow.
It is impossible to be a disciple of Jesus and not fulfill the gospel by serving the needy, marginalized and forgotten. Jesus said to be light before men, to shine before the unlikely with acts of love and mercy, including pointing out the truth that confronts and generates transformation.
As believers, we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving those in need and sharing the gospel with those around us.
The church is a place where we can recognize the wisdom of God's word, connect and build each other up through fellowship, making our spiritual family stronger in the journey of faith. All this with a single objective: to prepare ourselves to be the light and salt of the world, spreading a message of love, compassion and service to others.
Through fellowship we grow in our understanding of the word and become better guests to share the message of hope and salvation with others.
