ATHEISM AND STUPIDITY.

One way some people try to justify what they believe, even if it is fictitious, or it's real, but they have doubts about it, is by denigrating those who do not believe as they do. Atheists and pretend atheists, whose profession is spurious, delight in giving their delusion credence by ridiculing those who believe that there is a God. They say they are foolish for believing in the existence of a being that they can't see.
Hence the ineluctable reasonableness of their atheism. But is their position sound: that because you can't see something it doesn't exist?
We are in a pandemic said to be caused by the Corona Virus, an organism too minute to be seen by the human eye unaided by technology. Do we deny the existence of the Corona Virus and the fact that we are becoming sick and dying from it? What evidence do we have that there is a virus causing us to be ill and dying? None except the word of professionals. The symptoms of the virus are the same as those of the flu and a host of other illnesses. But we take the word of professionals , and protect ourselves from something we can't see in its form or its behavior.
So to say there is no God because we can't see him is like saying there is no Corona Virus, because we can't see it. If we can rely on the word of man and believe that there is a virus that can kill us, we can surely rely on the Word of God, which is the most accurate and trustworthy book, and believe in the existence of God.
When an atheist or pretend atheist declaims that he knows there is no God, he is declaiming that he knows all the things or beings in the universe and among them is nothing or no one called God. Is that rational? Suppose I came to you and said that I know that there is no black colored fish in the Pacific Ocean, which is 64 million square miles in size, bigger than all the surface lands on earth. You would dismiss me as a nut; for it isn't possible for me to know every inch of the Pacific Ocean and all the fish in it to know that among them there was no black colored fish. Yet atheists tell us there is no God in the universe when they could never know all the fish in an ocean, which is a mere speck in the universe. Aren't they stupid?
When you ask the atheist who created the universe ,he will say the universe came from nothing. This again is stupid, for nothing can't create something. Nonexistence, can't give rise to existence. If I were to hand an atheist a most intricately designed watch and tell him, that the watch came from nothing- it just appeared- he would regard me as a kook. For a most exquisitely designed watch speaks of not only a designer, but an intelligent one. But atheists proudly declare that this most complex universe appeared from nothing- it just sprang into existence. Do you see the stupidity?
When you ask them who created man, they say, man wasn't created: he evolved from a monkey . But they can't tell you who created the monkey. Some say that it was chance. But chance is nothing but mathematical probability. If I throw a ball against a wall twenty times there is a chance that two times it might bounce back and hit me. Is it something , or someone called chance that will use it to hit me? No, it is the probability that it will bounce off the wall.
To carry this further, if I visit you unannounced when you do not expect me you will might say that I came to visit you by chance. Would you mean that something called chance put me in a car or lifted me up and took me to your house; or would you mean that you weren't expecting me and I came? All I am saying it is that chance is nothing. Yet people say this complex universe was created by chance because they want to deny the obvious: the universe was created by God.
As regards the argument that man evolved from monkeys, there is absolutely no evidence for that whatsoever. Was anyone there to see the prototypical monkey that evolved into a man? No; for scientists say it occurred billions of years ago, when none of us were around. Furthermore, no transitional form-part man part monkey- has ever been found. Because while there are variations in species - different breed of dogs for example- there is absolutely no evidence of one species evolving into another- i.e. a whale into a mouse. Such has never been found. But men put forward these stupid suppositions for one reason: they do not want to accept the obvious: this world was created by a being to whom they will have to give an account someday.
And finally the reason I know atheism is an empty delusion, is that when you come to the end of life it can't, ease you gently into nothingness. Some of the history's famous atheists and lesser ones died horrible deaths, which shouldn't be if you know you are going into extinction. You should be glad.
Take the case of Frederich Neitzsche( 1844-1900), German philosopher born to a Christian minister and who himself was known as a boy minister. Later in life he not only abandoned the faith, but became a most scornful atheist. Will Durant in his book, The Story of Philosophy quotes him as saying " Is not this godliness that there are no gods? If there were Gods, how could I bear to be no God. Consequently there are no gods. I conjure you my brethren, remain faithful to the earth and do not believe those who speak of super-terrestrial hopes"( p. 452.).
When he neared his end, life became excruciatingly painful. Durant says , " Even his laughter became neurotic as his mind broke down; nothing could better reveal the poison that was corrupting him..)p.484. They took him to an asylum, but his dear mother who had introduced him to the faith that he had cast off came and took him , and cared for him till he died.
Closer home a noted columnist of a Caribbean Newspaper who was also a respected professor wrote in a column that I read, sometime in the eighties, that when he was a boy, he believed in the existence of God, but on becoming a man , he no longer believed God existed. He had a secret life and when he was informed that he had contracted the illness from which he would die he screamed 'O, God, O God'
And another journalist of the Gleaner, in Jamaica, in the nineties wrote articles arguing, pompously that there was no God: that the universe was a product of chance and that all that religion was mythology. How did he die? He was found hanging from a rope in his garage. I could tell you more similar stories.
Atheism is pure stupidity.
