Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Before day in the morning, sitting alone in the living room the Scripture, “Be still and know that I am God,” came into my spirit.
I checked to see what Chapter the Scripture was located in, read it, then went to bed.
The next day upon rising that Scripture was still in my spirit. I gathered my helps and began to search the Scriptures and seek God’s face, because I knew that He was speaking.
THE MESSAGE
Two words appeared to be lifted off of the pages as I read Psalms 46:10. The words “still” and “know”.
After meditating on this verse I became thirsty to know the depth of its meaning.
The Scripture says be STILL. To be still means to slacken (in many applications literally and figuratively; to abate (which means to reduce in amount, degree or intensity; lessen); to cease, to be faint, to be or wax feeble; idle (inactive). The word idle helped to put things in context.
God is speaking to His World! Be still! You are doing everything that you have always done. Settle down and listen! I alone, says God am relevant! He that has an ear to hear let him hear.
Another reference defines “still” this way; to mend (by stitching); to cure- cause to heal, repair; thoroughly make whole.
This mending/stitching or staying in should drive us to the cure, which is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
The Bible says “know” that I AM GOD. I AM GOD THAT I AM! To know is to ascertain by seeing; observation, care, recognition, instruction, acknowledge, punishment, acquaintance, comprehend, be diligent, discern, discover, familiar friend. Hallelujah!
There is no doubt that our God wants us to take note. Look up and hear the voice of our God.
Can you hear the voice of God Church??? This is a time of not just knowing the Lord as a familiar friend, but as your Lord and Savior in true holiness and righteousness.
This COVID-19 virus has brought us to this place. Be still and know that God is our Psalms 91 Jehovah God!
Shut your doors and seek the Master. Pray for yourselves, your families, your neighbors, and this world! God is speaking. Repent with a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart.
He that has an ear to hear let him hear. Amen.
May God bless you.
