Some goodbyes are especially hard.

This past Sunday, we said goodbye to Gabe and the Glass family. It’s difficult to put into words just how much they have meant to Peace Church.

Gabe wore many hats during his time with us, from marketing and youth ministry to, most importantly, serving as our Music Director. Through every song, every Sunday, and every behind-the-scenes moment, he poured his creativity, faith, and heart into helping our church worship and grow together.

And this ministry was truly a family effort. Mary and family have been an incredible part of our family ministries, including leading our children’s choir and helping our youngest members discover their own voices and place in our church family. 🫶

To the entire Glass family: thank you. Thank you for the countless hours, the music, the laughter, the leadership, and, most of all, the love you have poured into Peace. Your fingerprints will remain on this church long after your last Sunday with us.

We will miss you more than you know, and we pray God’s richest blessings over your family as you begin this next chapter. Once a part of the Peace family, always a part of the Peace family. 💙🕊️

What has hold of us?

This Sunday, we continue our No Separation series with “What We Hold,” looking at Luke 12:13–21 and the way Jesus challenges us to think differently about money, security, and abundance.

Possessions can make tempting foundations, but they were never meant to carry the weight of our trust. Jesus invites us into a different kind of abundance: one measured not by what we keep, but by what we’re willing to share.

Generosity is about more than charity. It’s about helping build a community where everyone has the opportunity to flourish.

Join us Sunday as we explore what happens when faith and finances are no longer kept in separate boxes.

Kindness is free. Sprinkle it everywhere.

Loving our neighbor doesn’t always require a grand gesture. Sometimes it looks like a kind word, an open hand, a little extra patience, or simply noticing someone who could use a reminder that they matter.

Jesus calls us to love beyond ourselves, and every day gives us another opportunity to put that love into action. 🫶

How can you sprinkle a little kindness today? ✨

Why do we sing?

We sing in celebration. We sing in gratitude. We sing when life is good, and sometimes, we sing to remind ourselves of what is true when life feels anything but easy.

“The Lord is my strength and my redeemer. That is why I sing.” — Exodus 15:2

Whatever this week has brought, may you find a reason to lift your voice and remember the One who gives us strength, hope, and a song to keep singing. 🙌

What if the world around us was never ours to begin with?

This Sunday, we continue our No Separation series with “The World Next Door,” exploring Jesus’ parable of the tenants in Mark 12 and what it means to remember that creation is God’s possession and our responsibility.

When we see the earth not as something we own, but as a gift God has entrusted to our care, caring for creation becomes more than a cultural or political conversation, it becomes an expression of our faith.

What does it look like to be good caretakers of what belongs to God? Join us Sunday as we explore it together.
