Ten years after the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, we gather to remember, pray, and commend the departed to God’s eternal care. Join us for a Votive Requiem Eucharist in memory of the 49 victims. Canon to the Ordinary Dan Smith will preach.

All are welcome as we honor their memory and pray for healing, peace, and hope.

We are happy to partner again with the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida’s Becoming Beloved Community Task Force to present “Allyship 101: The Basics,” an informational and transformative day-long experience which provides a new way to understand race, race-based biases, and the forces maintaining those biases.

Participants will learn the importance of awareness and education in allyship and what they can do today to eradicate racism.

This week, Bishop Justin Holcomb is participating in the Living Our Vows Retreat, joining fellow bishops from across the Episcopal Church for a time of worship, reflection and learning.

Designed for bishops in their first three years of ministry, the retreat focuses on ongoing formation, spiritual renewal and the practice of faithfully living into the vows and responsibilities of episcopal leadership.

Thanks be to God! Alleluia, alleluia!

On Sunday the Cathedral Church of St Luke - Orlando, FL and members of the diocese gathered in gratitude and celebration for the retirement of Dean Reggie Kidd, honoring a lifetime of faithful ministry, teaching and pastoral leadership.

Dean Kidd preached and celebrated the Eucharist, offering a fitting witness to the wisdom and joy that have marked his ministry. As a teacher, mentor, and friend, he has shaped countless lives throughout the diocese — including Bishop Justin Holcomb's own ministry — and leaves a legacy that will continue to bear fruit for years to come.

During the service, resolutions recognizing Dean Kidd’s extraordinary contributions were presented on behalf of the diocese, the City of Orlando and Orange County. Following the service, friends, colleagues, and parishioners gathered for a celebratory luncheon. In a particularly meaningful moment during the luncheon, Bishop Holcomb presented Dean Kidd with a 14th-century Byzantine-style icon depicting the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. The gift carried deep personal significance, representing a pivotal and memorable experience shared between Bishop Holcomb and Dean Kidd many years ago, and serving as a tangible reminder of the enduring spiritual friendship and shared vocation that has marked their relationship.

We give thanks to God for Dean Kidd’s ministry and pray for abundant blessings in this next season of life!
