Beloved friends,
The holiday season is often spoken of as a time of joy, family, and celebration. Yet for many, it can also be a season of loneliness, grief, or heavy depression. If you find yourself overwhelmed, unable to carry the weight of your thoughts, or struggling to see light in the midst of darkness, please know this: you are not alone, and help is available right now.
The Mental Health Hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on holidays. By calling (866) 756-3047, you will be connected with trained, compassionate professionals who will listen without judgment, help you understand what you are experiencing, and guide you toward the next step in healing mentalhealth.... Every call is confidential and free.
Scripture reminds us: “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Sometimes casting our cares means reaching out for help, allowing others to walk with us through the valley. This hotline is one way God’s care can reach you through the voices of those trained to support and strengthen you.
If you are experiencing:
• Deep sadness or depression
• Changes in sleep, appetite, or concentration
• Feeling disconnected from reality
• Misuse of alcohol or drugs
• Or simply the inability to function day to day
…then calling the hotline may be the most important step you can take today mentalhealth....
And if you or someone you love is in imminent danger, please dial 911 immediately.
Dear ones, the holidays do not demand perfection or endless cheer. They invite us to remember Emmanuel—God with us—even in our pain. Reaching out for help is not weakness; it is courage. It is choosing life, hope, and the possibility of healing.
So if the weight feels unbearable, pause and dial (866) 756-3047. Let someone walk with you tonight, tomorrow, and through this season. You are worthy of care, worthy of love, and worthy of life renewed.
With grace and peace,
+DMM
