We have been made aware of a new scam in which individuals contact family members of inmates and demand money for electronic monitoring or conditional release. These calls and messages are fraudulent.

Please remember:
• Our office will never request payment over the phone, through text, or through third parties.
• Do not send money, gift cards, or electronic payments to anyone claiming it is required for an inmate’s release or monitoring.
• Please report it to the police. If you are unsure of its authenticity, do not respond and contact our office to verify.
