✨ Janmashtami Recap ✨

Last night during our Janmashtami celebration, we were treated to a beautiful reenactment of Shri Krishna’s Janma, followed by a special dance from the little Gopis of our Mandir to celebrate the divine birth of baby Shri Krishna. 💙

We are so proud of Nandini, our Yashoda Maa, and our sweet little Gopis — Ella, Sonia, Simran, Raina, Avani, and Amelia — who learned their dance in just THREE practices!

A special thank you to Nanda Singh and Sandhya Oudit for taking the time to choreograph and teach our girls, and to all of their parents for allowing and encouraging them to participate. ❤️

Seeing our children learn about their Dharma and express their Bhakti in such a beautiful way makes these moments even more special.

May Shri Krishna and Radha Rani bless each of our little ones, their families, and everyone who helped make this possible. 🦚🙏🏽

✨ DEVOTEE SPOTLIGHT ✨

Today we’re shining a light on two beautiful faces who have been a special part of our Mandir family for decades — Uncle Henry and Auntie Data. ❤️

They have been part of the SLNM family since the 1980s, going all the way back to the early days of our Mandir. Through the years, their love, support, and devotion have remained a beautiful and constant part of our community.

This week, they are also celebrating an incredible 63 years of marriage! And as they have done for so many special occasions over the years, they celebrated this beautiful milestone by sitting for Puja together. 🪔

We absolutely love and adore Uncle Henry and Aunty Data. Our Mandir truly would not be the same without their familiar faces, warmth, and presence.

SLNM thanks them both for decades of love and support. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna continue to bless them with love, happiness, togetherness, and many more beautiful years, and may His blessings always remain with their entire family. 🦚

✨ Saturday Bhakti | Ramayan Sumiran ✨

On this beautiful Saturday, we share Dharmacharya Rudra Jadonath singing the sacred Ramayan Sumiran.

The Ramayan Sumiran is a devotional remembrance of the divine story, teachings, and virtues found within the Shri Ramcharitmanas. Through its sacred verses, we are reminded of Shri Ram’s example of Dharma, devotion, humility, courage, and righteousness.

When we listen to and sing the Ramayan with bhakti, we are not simply remembering a story—we are reflecting on the values that can guide the way we live, serve, and walk our own path of Dharma. ❤️

May Shri Ram bless you and your family this Saturday with peace in your hearts, strength in your faith, and wisdom to always choose the path of Dharma. ✨
