✨ Mindfulness Monday✨
If you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, the 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique can help bring yourself back to the present moment.

If you can, find a quiet spot, a comfortable chair, and keep both feet flat on the floor. Then try using your 5 senses to do the following:
🔹 5 things you can see
🔹 4 things you can feel
🔹 3 things you can hear
🔹 2 things you can smell
🔹 1 thing you can taste
This simple exercise helps calm your mind, reduce anxiety, and can reconnect you with what’s happening right now. 🩵

🌿 Refresh Your Soul 🌿
Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do… is pause.
Step outside. Breathe deeper. Let the noise quiet down and reconnect with you.

Your soul doesn’t need perfection. It needs presence, peace, and a little space to reset.
Let today be your reminder to release what’s heavy, hold on to what feels light, and gently begin again. ✨

💭 What’s one thing you’re doing today to nourish your soul?

Their dedication is what allows our mission to continue making an impact. We wouldn’t be the oldest charity in the Chicago area without them! Thank you to every volunteer who helps our community thrive. You truly make a difference every day.
