Blessings on our beautiful planet for Earth Day.

Today I commit to seeing the beauty of all creation.
Gentle rains that fall and nourish the earth, I see you.
Tiny creatures that fly flower to flower, fertilizing plants that bear fruit and seed, I see you.
Flowing waters that refresh and restore all of life, I see you.
Beings of land and sea that together create a wonderscape of balance, harmony, and holy communion, I see you.
May my eyes and heart never become blind to your glory.
May my actions never diminish your handiwork.

Hi Friends, it's Kurt from OCC. Elizabeth and I have discussed me sharing some theological videos, and this is a good place to start since this video was just released on YT today, and it provides an introduction to several resources.

The first is the YT channel and TV series, Closer To Truth. The host interviews fascinating people from the domains of religion, science, and philosophy. You can find lots of great content there, and I will eventually share more.

The second great resource is the theologian, Sarah Coakley. While I don't agree with Dr. Coakley about all things, I greatly admire her insights and communication skills, and you may recall that I quoted her in that e-blast that went out last week.

The third is that this provides a light overview of a bit of feminist theology. It's not in-depth, but it is insightful.
