Don't forget, the Ward ice cream drive by parade starts at 6:00 p.m. tonight! Watch for the big white truck, the ice cream music and the bishopric. Theyve got lots of ice cream to pass out!

Ward Ice Cream Parade tomorrow at 6:00pm!!!!!!

Hello ward family,

As a way to let you know that we love you and are thinking of you, the bishopric will be slow-driving through our ward boundaries tomorrow evening, blasting music and passing out ice cream from the back of Bro. Real's Ford F-350.

This will be tomorrow, 5/22 at 6:00 pm. We will start first at the Aston Building D, and hang around there for a few minutes and then head on over to the rest of the ward boundaries after that.
We hope you will come out of your homes when you hear the music playing and get a free ice cream and know that we love you.

We've been asked to help prepare the building to again have meetings in them. The Physical Facility has asked that we do a deep clean of our building as part of this. Including dusting all surface cleaning all glass surface door k***s vacuuming the carpets moping all surface that can be also cleaning the sacrament trays and the outside of the building as well. They have asked that each ward provided 15 members this Saturday at 8am to help with this under taking. Social distancing guidelines will be followed as we do this. We want everyone to understand this voluntary so please don't fill obligated if you are not comfortable with this. If you or anyone in your family are filling sick or have flu like symptoms please take care of yourself and don't volunteer. If you are immune compromised or have concern please don't fill obligated to sign up. Each ward will be providing 15 people so if your healthy and willing please email me back or shoot me text and let me know you can do it.

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Hillcrest 1st Ward.
If you have not heard, effective immediately, all public gatherings of Church members are temporarily suspended until further notice. This includes, Sacrament Meetings, Proxy Temple work, and all other activities including children and youth activities. During this time we are authorized to administer the sacrament in our own homes under the following conditions:

• Homes with a Priest or Melchizedek Priesthood holder may administer the sacrament in their homes.
• Homes without a Priest or Melchizedek Priesthood holder will have the ministering brethren come and administer the sacrament in their homes.
• The Sacrament should be performed on Sundays and as often as possible. Since we have such a close geographic ward we should be able to provide the Sacrament weekly to all of our members.
• We also encourage you to do the inspired program Come Follow Me with your families.

If you are in need of any assistance during this time, please reach out to your ministering brothers and sisters or, the Elders Quorum, Relief Society Presidents or Bishopric. We love you and pray for you and your families during this trying time.

As we approach Fast Sunday tomorrow, we ask that our ward unite with our fellow saints in Australia for a day of fasting and prayer “to petition the Lord for relief from the bushfires and drought conditions."

The Pacific Area presidency released a statement asking Latter-day Saints in Australia to join them in national day of fasting and prayer on Jan. 5, for relief from bushfires and drought.
