Oregon United Methodist Church Oregon UMC is just northwest of St. Joseph. Our church is right on the Square in the center of town. We are a United Methodist Church. year round.

Learn more about the UMC at www.umc.org. We have worship services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes are offered for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Our interim pastor is Ken Rosenauer who serves the Oregon UMC as well as the Forest City UMC, which has worship services at 9:30 a.m.

Please keep Bob Bechtold in your prayers.

He has had some issues with low blood sugar, but today his blood sugar was good while he was dealing with fever and disorientation.

Wife Denise reports that he has been diagnosed with parainfluenza. No word on whether he will be admitted to hospital.

This has been a fabulous week at Blessings farm for VBS 2026!! A big thank you to all of those who helped make this program possible and a big thank you to the parents who brought their children each day and came to our picnic today!! We had so much fun this week learning 4 of the fruits of the spirit and getting into the Bible to learn 4 stories that illustrated those fruits! Day 3 was so much fun at vacation bible school!! The kids learned about generosity! The bible story was about Boaz and Ruth! I can’t wait to see all the kids back on Blessings farm tomorrow for another exciting day! Don’t forgot the VBS program is tomorrow at 11:30 for all parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and neighbors, to come and watch the kids perform songs that they have learned throughout the week!! We will then follow the program with a picnic for lunch for all in attendance!! Come join us!! 😃🌭🎼🎤

Day 2 of VBS!! Another great day Down on the Farm! Today Farmer John and the farm animals taught us about patience!! It’s not always easy to be patient and give others a turn or wait for something. The farmer plants the seed in good soil and then waits for a bountiful harvest!! Join us tomorrow at 9am when we will learn about Gratitude!!
