Following the death of King Harald V of Norway on August 28, it is fitting to recall the message he sent to the 2018 Centennial Convention of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. As the Synod regards itself as the spiritual successor to the former Norwegian Synod, the King’s letter holds particular significance.

It took a lot of work to prepare for Sunday's orientation for school -- painting walls, fixing doors, mopping, arranging desks, and organizing the classrooms.

We were missing a few families, but here's everyone who came to our orientation for 2026! What a great group of people! We're looking forward to starting school soon!

Web Servers down due to attack. The company we use to host FaithLutheranOregon.com and SursumCordaClassical.com, along with our church and school emails, has had their servers come under attack.

That means I am without access to my school or church email address.
