LOMC was thankful to host Freedom Lutheran Church's last worship service Sunday evening. Bittersweet, inspiring, sad, hopeful, and accomplished were just some of the words that expressed how many were feeling.

Freedom Lutheran started at LOMC as a worshipping community and connected and touched the hearts of many in the decade or so of ministry. Blessings to all! Thank you to members of Freedom, Bishop Clements, clergy and guests who made the service a special evening to glorify God.

Dear Freedom Family,

I would first like to thank everyone that attended our congregational meeting this past Sunday. I appreciate the thoughts and opinions shared. For those of you that were not able to attend, I would like to get you up to speed. At the meeting we voted by unanimous decision to dissolve Freedom Lutheran Church and end our ministry. Freedom has been part of all of our lives for over a decade, and it will be terribly missed. We will have one final worship service later this summer at LOMC to celebrate Freedom and what it has meant to us. Watch your email for the date and time of that worship. In the mean time we will cease worshiping on Sunday evenings. Please reach out to Leadership Team members with any questions you have.
