💛 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨, 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘!

Community Day 2026 is in the books, and what a day it was. About 50+ neighbors came through our doors for hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, cookies, face painting, and carnival games, and every bit of it was free, just like we promised.

To the volunteers who showed up at 10 AM to wrestle tents into place, haul tables and chairs, scoop shaved ice for four straight hours, and paint who-knows-how-many butterflies on who-knows-how-many cheeks, thank you. This day does not happen without you. Many of you never sat down.

And to everyone who came out: thank you for letting us be a small part of your summer. We loved meeting you. We hope you left full, sticky, and smiling.

📣 VBS News for Adults! 📣

This year’s Adult VBS will focus on one of the most encouraging truths of the Christian life: God is not finished with us!

When we become Christians through obedience to the Gospel, God begins a transforming work in our lives—a work He continues throughout our journey with Him. Scripture reminds us that salvation is more than forgiveness; it is the beginning of a new life in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) This transformation does not depend on our own strength, but on God working in us. (Philippians 2:13)

Throughout the week, we’ll explore how God saves us, renews us, works within us, and faithfully continues His work until we stand complete in Christ.

📖 Adult VBS Lessons:
Sunday: By Faith Isaac… — Hebrews 11:20
Monday: Why Has This Happened to Us? – Transforming Gideon — Judges 6:1-32
Tuesday: Against All Odds — Judges 6:33–7:25
Wednesday: Destroying Transformation — Judges 8

🍽️ Dinner begins at 5:00 PM
(Adults, just a friendly reminder that these will be kid-friendly meals 😊)

📚 Adult Class:
6:30–7:30 PM in the Teen Room off the Life Center

Following class, adults are welcome to make their way to the auditorium at 7:50 PM to be part of the closing time with the children.

We can’t wait to grow together and be reminded that God is still working in each of us! ❤️

🎩 The golden ticket is free. So is everything else.

Echo Meadows Church of Christ is turning into W***y Wonka's chocolate factory for four nights, and every kid in town is invited.

Skits. Games. Crafts. Candy everywhere.

🍭 And every kid gets to build an I-Spy jar.

It's a bottle packed with rice with 34 tiny treasures buried inside: a magical gummy bear, a golden key, a rubber duck, a hundred-dollar bill. You can't open it. You just turn it, and hunt.

We even built them a website. Your kids can check off every treasure they find, at home, all summer long.
