**Prayers of Intercession for Sunday, April 26, 2026**

“Trusting in the power of Christ’s resurrection to heal and redeem our broken world, let us pray for the needs of all creation.

Shepherding God, draw all people to yourself and lead them in paths of righteousness. Embolden your church to enter the valleys of the world and guide us beside the still waters of your grace. We pray for military and prison chaplains serving near and far.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Creator God, by the resurrection of your Son, show us your steadfast love and instruct our hearts in your ways. Help us to revere and protect the wonders of your creation.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Righteous Judge, strengthen and uphold those who work for justice and advocate for human rights. Bring an end to oppression and save us from the temptation of violence and vengeance.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Great Physician, walk with those who are grieving, and anoint those who are ill or injured. Restore them to health of body, mild, and spirit.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Good Shepherd, continually seek us out as lambs of your flock, and form us into a community where all are honored and cared for. Spread a feast before and fill our cups to overflowing.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Living God, we praise you for the saints who have died in faith and now dwell in your love. At our end, bring us, with them, to our heavenly home.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

God of resurrection power, use us and these prayers to proclaim the good news of new life to al the word, through Jesus Christ, our risen Savior.

Amen.”

**Prayers of Intercession for Sunday, April 19, 2026**

“Trusting in the power of Christ’s resurrection to heal and redeem our broken world, let us pray for the needs of all creation.

Living Savior, just as you journeyed with the disciples to Emmaus, accompany us on our journey of faith. Gather us at your table, that we recognize you in the breaking of the bread.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Almighty God, you provide for the needs of all creation. Bless the fields that are being prepared for planting, and send favorable weather so that all the soil may yield an abundant harvest.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

God of justice, where leaders abuse power, confront them and call them to repentance. Where there is corruption, bring integrity; where there is violence, sow peace.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Healing Savior, your resurrection brings hope to a hurting world. Heal those who are sick. Strengthen the weary, give courage to the despairing, and comfort the dying.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Gracious One, you have made us your own through the gift of baptism. Unite us in genuine love for one another and uphold this community in your name.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Eternal Light, we give thanks for all who have nurtured your church’s life in ages past. Bring us at last with them to the brightness of your glorious presence.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

God of resurrection power, use us and these prayers to proclaim the good news of new life to al the word, through Jesus Christ, our risen Savior.

Amen.”

"When we have eyes to see Jesus present in our neighbor and in the face of a stranger, then everyday can be a resurrection day, and every moment an Easter serendipity." Pastor Greg Kintzi

**Preface to Communion for Sunday, April 12, 2026**

“Giving thanks to God is a good and a joyful task, to be done with smiles on our faces and laughter in our hearts; for it is God who created us creatures of mirth and of joy.
It was You, O God, who created us in Your image and filled us with Your very own breath. But we turned our backs to You, and we didn’t love You back.
When that happened, You didn’t brush us off, but loved us even more.
You helped us overcome the gloominess of our own lives and promised us that You would forever be our God.
And so, with Your people all over this earth, and with all the company in heaven, we sing praises to Your name, and we join in their never-ending song of praise.”

**Prayers of Intercession for Sunday, April 5, 2026**

“Trusting in the power of Christ’s resurrection to heal and redeem our broken world, let us pray for the needs of all creation.

Risen Savior you have conquered death and opened the gates of everlasting life. Dispel our doubts and ears and renew our faith and hope in you.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Life-giving God, the created world rejoices in Christ’s victor over death. May all the earth be renewed by the light of Jesus’ resurrection, and may we be faithful stewards of all you have made.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Sovereign God, let the nations acknowledge your reign of justice and truth. Where violence, oppression, and corruption hold sway, pour out your holy and life-giving Spirit to transform and redeem.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Gentle Shepherd, like the women at the empty tomb, many grieve or feel lost and afraid. Draw near to those who are ill or in pain. Reveal yourself to them as the Risen One.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Faithful God, we thank you for the living hope you give us through Christ’s resurrection. Bless this community, that we may boldly proclaim Christ’s victory over death in word and deed.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

Eternal One, we give thanks for all who have died and now share in the joy of your resurrection. Bring us, with them to the unending feast of your victory.

Merciful God, receive our prayer.

God of resurrection power, use us and these prayers to proclaim the good news of new life to all the world, through Jesus Chris, our risen Savior.

Amen.”
