We're hosting a ConnectLife blood drive at Neighbors Church this Friday, September 4th, from 1:30 to 5:00 pm.

One in three people who walk into a hospital will need blood. A single car accident victim can need up to 100 pints. Local hospitals depend almost entirely on local donors, and ConnectLife supplies more than 75% of the blood used in our community.

The whole thing takes less than an hour. You give a pint, you eat a cookie, and somebody in Buffalo goes home to their family.

This is a small, ordinary way to love our neighbors. You do not have to be a member here. Bring a friend.

You might also win from tickets to see the Bills play this season!

Sunday Recap ⛪️

What a Sunday! We worshiped together songs and hymns, connected with one another, enjoyed sweet fellowship, served one another, and opened God’s Word together.

Today we were reminded just how incredibly valuable the gospel is. It is not something to take for granted—it is the good news that changes everything.

May we never lose our wonder at the grace we’ve been given through Jesus. May we treasure the gospel, live in light of it, and make it known to our neighbors.

What a joy to be the church together!

Join us Sundays at 10am. 3766 Abbott Road in Orchard Park!

We are so thankful Windom Community Church asked the question: "How can the gospel continue to advance in our community?"

That's faithful stewardship.

We are incredibly grateful and humbled to be part of what God is doing through Send Network.

Hearing stories of churches multiplying, lives being transformed by the gospel, and congregations choosing kingdom impact over self-preservation is a reminder that God is faithfully building His Church.

We're especially thankful for the congregation that chose to ask, "How does the gospel keep advancing?"

Thank you to Send Network, our sending church, our partners, and everyone who has prayed, given, and served alongside us. We can't wait to see what God does next. To Him be all the glory!

I wanted to share some thoughts with you.

You might have noticed our social media has been quiet recently.

That has been purposeful. When planting a church, so many things need to be done, and they usually fall into two categories: Administrative and Ministry.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to move into our new building and to experience the kind of faithfulness God has displayed these past few months.

But it comes at a cost: lots of administrative time and energy from our team.

It is a constant battle to choose what to focus on. Doing ministry, or cleaning, organizing, social media or paying the bills. In that battle, some of the less important things needed to be put on hold.

Don't get me wrong, there is so much joy in this season. But the joy of church planting doesn't usually happen in the loud public moments that make for good social media. It happens in the quiet ones. In moments of spiritual growth, not numerical growth. In moments of relational prosperity, not financial.

This picture reminds me of that. I was on stage preaching when it was taken, so I never would have seen it myself. A simple moment that grounds you back into reality: God is working. He is working all the time. You are just one of the many tools in His toolbelt.

Thank you, Lord, for all You have done.

-Pastor Dan

He is still changing lives!

You may have seen this in our post about Easter, but we had the privilege of celebrating baptism, a powerful picture of what Jesus has done. Baptism does not save us, but it is a public declaration that we have been made new. It is going down into the water as the old self and coming up as someone who has been changed by the grace of God.

One of the most powerful moments came from Julie’s own words:

“I have an overwhelming sense of peace, my depression and anxiety have decreased and I don’t feel such loneliness and I have a Jesus to thank for that.”

That is the gospel on display. Not self improvement. Not behavior modification. New life in Christ!

This is why we celebrate baptism. Because it points to a real Savior who meets people in their brokenness and brings them into peace, freedom, and relationship with Him.

If you have been thinking about taking that next step in your faith, we would love to walk with you.

We’re really proud of what God is building in our Little Neighbors ministry!

Our heart is simple, we want to create a place where kids are taught the Bible clearly and consistently, while also having a ton of fun! We want to help lay a real foundation of faith in the next generation.

Every week, our kids are learning who God is, what He’s done, and how that actually matters for their lives—all in an environment that’s safe, engaging, and full of joy!

If you’ve got little ones, we’d love for them to be part of it!

Our first gathering as Neighbors Church @ Windom!

17 months ago, we started in a basement with a handful of people and a simple mission: make disciples.

Since then, we’ve met everywhere—community centers, homes, borrowed spaces—watching God faithfully provide exactly what we needed, right when we needed it. Step by step, He’s built something we never could have manufactured on our own.

And this Sunday, it all came together.

On Easter Sunday!

Pastor Nate taught us that none of this matters without the resurrection of Jesus, it is the cornerstone of our faith. The Word was sweet this morning!

We celebrated baptism as well, watching our dear friend publicly declare that Jesus has saved her and made her new.

That’s the mission. That’s why we’re here. And that hasn’t changed.

New building. Same mission.

We’re just getting started!
