SJV Updates: Please review the following time-sensitive St. John Vianney updates:
1. The final evening of Bingo at SJV will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in the gym.
Please note: The Queen of Hearts game may be required to continue beyond the final scheduled Bingo session unless the Queen of Hearts card is drawn this Wednesday. The Bingo committee will outline the process of how this single event will be executed moving forward.
2. Until we hear from the Dicastery regarding our status, our masses will be reduced to two weekday masses per month following Pentecost Sunday Mass, May 24, 2026, 9:30am.
Following Mass:
- The Knights of St. John will conduct their traditional Memorial Ceremony.
- A Legacy Fellowship Celebration, with light breakfast fare will be held in the gym. All are welcome to attend.
3. Photo Request
Any photos of parish events, parishioners, and celebrations may be emailed to Alan Welch at [email protected] in preparation for the Legacy Celebration. A screen presentation of our beautiful history will be on display during the gathering in the gym after mass. Thank you for your continued support, participation, and prayers during this important time in the life of our parish community.
4. We have been graciously welcomed by the other churches within Blessed Family #7, which have extended an open invitation to any parishioners who wish to attend their regularly scheduled Sunday Masses while we await the final decision from the Vatican/Dicastery. If you visit one of the parishes, please introduce yourself by saying, “Hi, I’m from St. John Vianney.” They are looking forward to welcoming you. We are a Roman Catholic community. We are inspired by the example of St. John Vianney to build up the Body of Christ. We are fed by the Word and Sacraments to proclaim the Good News of Jesus, to serve one another as Jesus did, and to invite others to join us in the mission of Christ.
