Galatians 1:3-5 "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen"

I absolutely love this because this states plain and simply Jesus Christ's suffering, why He did it, and how we are blessed.

You know what the cool thing about God is? The way He works.

Once upon a time, there was a child. This child was happy, bright, warm, you can always count of their light to brighten up their day.

One day, darkness came along. Here's how the conversation went.

Darkness: Hey kid, wanna play a game?
Kid: Yes! I love games!
Darkness: Good. Here's how it works. I'm going to go in front of you and the whole land will be dark. Doesn't that sound fun?!
Kid: But then everything will be dark and everyone will be sad.
Darkness: Nah, they'll love it. Just trust me.
Kid: I don't know about this...

Before the kid can argue anymore, darkness proceeds to move and cover the land. Everything turns dark, no one is really sure when the light will come back. But here's the cool thing... The light comes back. If you notice in the 2nd picture, the light is shining behind the darkness.

Now, look at the second to last picture. It's not as perfect as the original. That experince left a scar. Darkness wanted his revenge by leaving a mark. The child needs some time to heal. No matter how long it takes, the child is bound and determined to heal. So he goes on an adventure. They turn to so many people for direction. No one can help.

"Can you help me?" The child asks.
"Sorry, kid. I've got my own struggles.." Says the first person
"Umm... I'll let you know and we can talk about it then." Says the second.
"Ha! I can't even help myself. How am I supposed to help you?!" The third responds.

This continues for some time and with no where else to turn, the child kneels down and cries. Lost, broken, and confused.

This is the cool thing about God. The light that is shining in the third picture, you'll notice is brighter than any other light that has illuminated before. This is the light of God. This is the healing power of God.

Now, look at the last picture. It is complete as before. But by this point, lessons have been learned, God is in control and darkness won't be coming back for awhile.

That child... that child is you. The one with health problems, anxiety, depression. The one that feels they don't belong. The mothers who feel like failures. The fathers who feel they can't provide for their children. The parents who are heart broken because their children don't talk to them. The grandparents who are lonely because none of their grandkids live near them anymore. The one who is suffering abuse. The one that lost a child. The one suffering addiction.

I see you. I hear you. GOD hears you!

GOD IS CALLING OUT TO YOU! Search Him, ask for His help, and turn to Him before you become subject to darkness.

2 Nephi 31:20-21

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

GREAT NEWS!!! GENERAL CONFERENCE IS FINALLY HERE!!!

This is a time for us to enjoy our wonderful speakers talk about Jesus Christ!!

When I watch Conference, I receive a special guidance of change, progression, and lasting peace. I have also received witness that I have done some great and marvelous things and that I am on the right path.
