The Andrew Chapel – Word of the Week is: PERSEVERE.
Persevere means to continue moving forward with determination and faith despite difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. Spiritually, perseverance means remaining faithful to God even when the journey becomes difficult, trusting that He will give us the strength to keep going. As believers, we are called to stay committed to our faith, knowing that our struggles do not mean God has abandoned us.

There will be moments when we become tired, discouraged, or uncertain about what lies ahead, but God calls us not to give up. Every trial can strengthen our faith and teach us to depend more fully on His power and promises. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” This verse reminds us that our faithfulness is never wasted, even when we cannot immediately see the results, because God promises that there will be a harvest for those who continue to trust and serve Him.

Remember, Andrew Chapel family, perseverance means keeping your faith even when the road becomes difficult and the answer seems far away. May you continue to press forward, trusting God's strength and believing that He is leading you toward His purpose.

Hello, Andrew Chapel Family! We hope you are having a blessed day and would like to bring attention to a wonderful event we're having. On Saturday, September 19th, we are partnering with the Columbia FBI for a special presentation about Elder Fraud, to teach our seniors about how to protect yourself and other from scams and financial exploitation. This gives us time to fellowship and learn how to avoid the negatives that comes with technology.

Make sure to sign up in our church office by Thursday, September 10th, or give us a call at 803-531-0303 to leave a message with us. We hope that you join us in our effect to protect one another. May God continue to bless us all, and keep us secure!

The Andrew Chapel – Word of the Week is: SURRENDER. Surrender means giving up control and placing something completely into the hands of another. Spiritually, surrender means trusting God enough to release our own plans, desires, and worries and allow Him to lead our lives according to His will.

Surrendering to God does not mean giving up or admitting defeat; it means recognizing that His wisdom is greater than our own and that His plans are better than anything we could create for ourselves. When we surrender our lives to Him, we make room for God to work in ways we may not have expected and teach us to depend on Him rather than ourselves. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” This verse reminds us that when we place our plans and efforts in God's hands, He can direct our thoughts, establish our steps, and lead us according to His perfect purpose.

Remember, Andrew Chapel family, sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply letting go and trusting God with what we cannot control. May we surrender our hearts, our plans, and our future to the Lord, knowing that His hands are always capable of carrying us.

The Andrew Chapel – Word of the Week is: EXCLUSIVE. Exclusive means limited to one person, group, or purpose, or not shared with others. Spiritually, it reminds us that our worship, devotion, and ultimate trust belong exclusively to God, because there is no one who compares to Him.

In a world filled with distractions and competing priorities, it can be easy to allow other things to take the place that belongs to God. Scripture reminds us that God does not want to be one priority among many; He desires our whole heart, our complete devotion, and our undivided worship. Exodus 20:3 says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” This command reminds us that God alone deserves the highest place in our lives, and our relationship with Him should never be replaced by our possessions, ambitions, relationships, or anything else that seeks our attention.

Remember, Andrew Chapel family, God deserves an exclusive place in our hearts because there is no one greater than Him. May we give Him our undivided worship, complete devotion, and unwavering trust, allowing Him to remain first in everything we do.
