Happy Father’s Day!

To all of my friends, colleagues, and fellow laborers in the ministry of discipleship, I extend warm Father’s Day greetings.

Today we celebrate fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, coaches, pastors, and all those men who have helped shape lives through love, sacrifice, guidance, and faith.

We also honor those who carry the memory of fathers who have gone on before us. Their lessons, values, and legacy continue to live within us and through us.

Fatherhood is more than biology—it is the sacred work of nurturing, teaching, protecting, encouraging, and helping others discover the possibilities God has placed within them.

May this day be filled with gratitude for those who have fathered us, challenged us, prayed for us, and walked beside us on the journey of life and faith.

As we continue making disciples and building the Kingdom of God together, may we remember that every act of encouragement, every lesson taught, and every life touched becomes part of a lasting legacy.

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers—and to all who have been blessed by the gift of a father’s love and influence.

Grace and Peace,

Rev. Amiri B. Ho**er
