Our parish holds Adoration from 5:30-6:30pm followed by Mass.

In the hustle and bustle of the week, this is a time to find stillness, embrace the silence, and really just to be in the Presence of Jesus.

What an invitation.

Be sure to watch with the sound on because the audio you hear is coming from our beautiful young adult music ministry.

It’s a shame they only get to be heard once a month because they are so talented.

To every single one of you who uses your voice to sing praise, thank you.

You bring an unmatched beauty to these Masses and they wouldn’t be the same without.

SUNDAY GOSPEL REFLECTION MATTHEW 25:1-13

The oil signifies the life of grace — faith, charity, and the sacraments. It’s not a one-time fill. The extra oil carried by the wise virgins symbolizes faith, good works, and a life lived in accordance with God’s teachings.

Here’s the hard truth: preparation cannot be transferred or borrowed. Each individual must cultivate their own faith and walk with God. No one can hand you their sacramental life at the last moment. Each of us is responsible for our own lamp.

This parable puts emphasis on a very important Catholic teaching — the Four Last Things, death, judgment, heaven, and hell.

Similarly to last Sunday’s message, the focus is not to provoke fear, but to encourage us to prepare.

We don’t know when Christ will come again, but we do know He will.

Staying awake, in practice, means having the light of faith, which is kept alive with the oil of charity.

The question isn’t whether you have a lamp.

The question is: are you keeping it filled?

Daily prayer. Regular confession. The Eucharist. Works of love. These aren’t extras — they’re the oil.

We’ve extended the RSVP deadline for the MYA Mass, but it will close at 9am tomorrow!!!

If you don’t RSVP, we still will welcome all to attend Mass, but unfortunately only those on the list will be invited to stay for dinner - we want everybody to join, but your RSVP is the only way we can guarantee that there is enough food.
