Whether you’re brand new to fishing or you’ve been casting lines for years, Fishers of Men is more than just a day on the water. It’s about slowing down, sharing stories, laughing, and building real connections with other men.

Join us Saturday, July 11th for St. John’s annual private charter fishing trip 🎣

Spots are limited—be sure to reserve yours! Visit the Men’s Ministry page or stop by the courtyard for details.

And remember… what do you call a fish that wears a bow tie?Sofishticated. 😄

The Resurrection was revealed through encounters with the risen Christ. The Ascension was witnessed in real time.

Mary Magdalene saw the risen Jesus — but not the moment He rose. The disciples, however, watched the Ascension unfold before their eyes as Christ was lifted higher than human understanding.

Not a disappearance. Not a mystery hidden away. A visible glory. A King ascending.

Yesterday, we celebrated a beautiful and meaningful milestone as 51 of our 8th graders were Confirmed.✨

Confirmation is a special rite in the church where individuals strengthen their faith and renew the promises made at Baptism through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It marks a deeper commitment to living out their faith with courage, love and purpose.

We are so proud of each student for taking thins important step in their spiritual journey. Congratulations to the newly confirmed!🙏🏼❤️

Love is more than just words or feelings—it’s how we live every single day. It’s showing up with integrity in your work, staying faithful in the small things, loving your spouse without holding back, and raising your children to know who they are and whose they are in Christ.

It’s choosing kindness when it’s hard, being there for the hurting, the vulnerable, and the forgotten, and loving people the way Jesus loved us first. Real faith isn’t just something we speak about on Sundays—it’s found in the quiet moments, the sacrifices no one sees, and the way we treat people when no one is watching.

At the end of it all, I hope we can stand before God and simply say: “We just tried to live the way You taught us to love.” 🤍

Hey St. John’s family! This is Jim Meyer and we could really use your help for VBS this year 🙌🏻

We’re collecting snack donations, including goldfish crackers, Honey Maid graham crackers, Cheez-Its, vanilla wafers, fruit snacks, and (my personal favorite) Oreo cookies 🍪

Donations can be dropped off in the courtyard on Sunday mornings or at the school office during the week. Thank you so much for your support! 💛

Today we celebrate and honor the love, strength, kindness, and faith you pour into your families and our church community every single day. Your prayers, encouragement, and servant hearts never go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for all that you do.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 ✨

May God continue to bless each of you with joy, peace, and love today and always. Happy Mother’s Day! 💕

Today, our community came together in faith, unity, and prayer for the people who serve and protect us every day. Honored to see the Fire Chief representing the City of Orange at today’s National Day of Prayer. 🙏🏻🚒

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

Grateful for our leaders, first responders, and everyone who continues to pour into this community with courage and compassion. May we continue to lead with faith, serve with humility, and stand together in prayer. 🇺🇸
