Successful rosary ride. Proving again Knights on Bikes ride to pray and pray to ride.
Well, here we are at Steamboat Bill's for a well deserved late lunch.
We prayed for our past KonB president Scott Hilton and Charles Trahan for good health. We also prayed for a friend of Peter named Bill, the healing of divisions in KonB, and for the safety of all our brothers in the Knights on Bikes and there families during this riding season.

Forecast for tomorrow has improved. If by chance it is bad we will do the rosary at St Francis and eat somewhere in Orange. But looks like we will be Lake Charles bound.

The Beaumont chapter of Knights on Bikes will be taking off for their a Rosary Run to Louisiana Sunday, June 14th.
Knights will hit the road at around 12:15 p.m. after attending 10:30 a.m. mass at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 4300 Meeks Drive, Orange, Tx.
Stops include:
• St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1502 Industrial Street, Vinton, La.
• Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 1109 Cypress Street, Sulphur, La.
• Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 935 Bilbo Street,Lake Charles, La.
• Saint Henry Catholic Church, 1021 8th Avenue, Lake Charles, La.

The 46-mile Run will end at Steamboat Bill's 732 S Martin Luther King Hwy, Lake Charles, La.

On this beautiful summer-like day, guess who drove his motorcyle to work? Several priests stuck around after meetings at the Chancery to ask questions and admire Bishop Gruss' 2017 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. It was his second time on the road with it this year. (Yes, he put on his helmet and jacket after the photo.)

Dear Brother Knights on Bikes,We had a great Port Arthur DGR ride. We had 10 riders and two wives participate.In all, we have 21 donations made to DGR, and raised $1997.00.

After leaving the Port Arthur International Seafarers' Center and rding the arduous 13 miles to the Neches River Wheelhouse, we enjoyed each other's company and conversation.

It was all a great deal of fun and a great cause to support.

Peter and I had a great ride, but Uncle T's Oyster House was closed. So, we will just have to do it again.
We qualified for the New Year's Day Riding Challenge.
I am going to have to get a bigger virtual case for my virtual riding challenge coins.
