And it’s done! The last jigsaw puzzle piece was put in place during our Stewardship Celebration lunch. April Goodman won the door prize of a jigsaw puzzle of the church. (Not the completed one 😉). JoLynn Mott won the trivia contest.

In addition to completing the jigsaw puzzle, our members committed their financial support for our church and missions for the upcoming year.

We continue to need the skills and talents of each members. Whether you serve on a busy committee or occasionally, you are important, necessary, and appreciated.

Let us know how you want to play an active role.

Did you know that you don’t need to be a member to come to First Presbyterian? You don’t need to be Presbyterian. You don’t need to be Christian.

All are welcome. Are you curious? You are welcome. Do you doubt? You are welcome. Are you covered with tattoos? You are welcome. Have you denied Jesus? You are welcome. Do you just want to see our beautiful building? Welcome.

In woodworking a tongue in groove joint is one of the strongest and most durable woodworking joints, capable of connecting large lengths of wood and withstanding significant stress or wear over time. The interlocking design allows each board to share the load evenly, reducing the risk of warping, twisting, or separation, and providing excellent resistance to racking and lateral forces. I think that is a great image of what the local church is like, along with what we hold to mutually that interlock us together. This coming Sunday, as we conclude our “Some Assembly Required” series, we are going to look at some of those things that makes us interlocked from Romans 14:7-9.

A new command I give to you; Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

The Lighthouse Soup Kitchen is serving lunch today from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

All are welcome. Just come in the door and enjoy a hot lunch, a cold iced tea, and welcoming smiles.

Come early and stay late next Sunday!

The jigsaw puzzle of the church is getting difficult and slower. We need jigsaw talent. We’re straggling into the sanctuary right at 10:00 am for worship service. 😉

And, lunch is immediately following service to celebrate our stewardship campaign. It takes money, talents, skills, and people’s time to keep the doors open so we can worship God, love people, and grow disciples.

Lunch is provided. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself. Invite a friend.
