155th CHURCH ANNIVERSARY & HOMECOMING

The countdown is on! Only 6 days remain until we gather together to celebrate 155 years of faith, legacy, love, and God's continued grace! 🙌🏾

We are excited to welcome our 11:00 AM Musical Guests, the Antioch Baptist Church Choir of Madison, who will help lift our hearts through songs of worship and celebration.

🌿 SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP — 11:00 AM

Our very own Pastor Tracy A. Slaughter will bring the 155th Anniversary & Homecoming Morning Message.

Following morning worship, we will pause for a very special moment of dedication and remembrance as we officially dedicate and reveal our newly named:

LOCUST GROVE MEMORIAL GARDENS 🌳

This will include a brief Commemorative Ribbon Cutting and the unveiling of the memorial plaque and bench located over the former baptismal pool.

That sacred pool once played an important part in the history of Locust Grove, where many souls were baptized and declared Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through the confession of their faith. 🙏🏾

We pause to honor those who came before us—those who paved the way for the generations yet to come.

🍽️ CELEBRATION LUNCH

Lunch will be served following the morning service and dedication.

The countdown is on! In just 31 days, we will gather to celebrate 155 years of God’s faithfulness at Locust Grove Baptist Church’s 155th Church Anniversary & Homecoming!

✨ Morning Worship – 11:00 AM
Join us as our very own Rev. Tracy Slaughter brings the Word of God and leads us in Holy Communion.

🎗️ Following morning worship, we will hold a brief Commemorative Ribbon Cutting Ceremony as we dedicate our Memorial Gardens, honoring and remembering the faithful saints whose prayers, sacrifice, and service helped pave the way for generations to come.

🍽️ Celebration Lunch
Lunch will be served between worship services as we enjoy fellowship together.

Welcome to August with confidence! No matter what July held, God’s mercy did not run out. Every sunrise is a fresh reminder that He is still writing your story. Walk into this month believing that His grace is enough, His strength is available, and His faithfulness will carry you through every challenge and every blessing.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us into a new month. Thank You for Your new mercies every morning and Your unfailing faithfulness. Lead our steps throughout August, open doors according to Your will, protect our families, strengthen our faith, and help us trust You in every season. May everything we do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

📚✏️ Locust Grove Baptist Church is Excited to Serve Our Community! 💜

This Saturday, our Locust Grove Baptist Church family is honored to join the 2nd Annual Back to School Bash hosted by Wolford and Associates Realty!

We have been blessed with the opportunity to provide 125 students from our surrounding communities with notebooks and boxes of tissues to help them prepare for a successful school year. Thanks to the generosity of other vendors, organizations, and donors, each student will also receive additional school supplies needed to begin the new school year with confidence.

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy this wonderful community event!
