🔥 DOMINION FAMILY, IT’S TIME TO SEEK GOD TOGETHER! 🔥

Our September Fast begins tomorrow!

📅 September 8–10 | Tuesday–Thursday
⏰ 6AM–6PM
đź’§ Water Only

This month, our focus is REVIVAL.

📖 “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” — Psalm 85:6 KJV

For the next three days, we’re praying with one heart:

🙏🏽 DAY 1: REVIVE ME
Lord, awaken me. Renew my hunger for You and draw me closer.

🔥 DAY 2: REVIVE YOUR CHURCH
Lord, send fresh fire. Strengthen Your people, restore unity, and reactivate those who have grown weary or disconnected.

🌎 DAY 3: REVIVE OUR CITY
Lord, let revival move beyond our walls. Save souls, restore families, bring prodigals home, and let our community encounter Jesus.

Revive our hearts. Revive our church. Revive our city.

Let’s enter these three days with expectation. Seek Him. Hear Him. Be transformed. 🙏🏽🔥

🔥 DAY 1: YOU CAN LOVE GOD AND STILL BE ASLEEP

đź“– Romans 13:11 KJV
“…now it is high time to awake out of sleep…”

Paul wasn’t writing to people who had abandoned God. He was writing to believers. They still believed, but something in them had fallen asleep.

That can happen quietly.

You don’t decide to become spiritually sleepy. You drift. Prayer gets shorter. Hunger fades. The Word becomes less important. You still love God, still worship, still believe, but you’re no longer as spiritually alert as you once were.

And that’s why revival begins with an awakening.

Not condemnation. Awareness.

God isn’t calling you out to shame you. He’s calling you up because there is too much happening in this season for you to sleep through it.

The alarm is ringing.

It’s time to wake up.

đź’ DEEP DIVE: Where have you become spiritually sleepy without realizing it?

💬 Comment “I NEED TO WAKE UP” if you’re ready to be more aware and alive in this season. 🔥

🔥 DAY 5: IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT

đź“– Isaiah 40:31 KJV
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength…”

There are some seasons you don’t fully understand until you can look back.

The waiting. The closed doors. The disappointments. The prayers that seemed unanswered. The moments you wondered, “God, when?”

But here you are.

The wait didn’t destroy you. God sustained you through it. Somewhere along the way, you discovered strength you didn’t know you had because it came from Him.

Now you can look back and see that God was faithful even when you couldn’t see what He was doing.

You were delayed, but you were not denied.

So don’t just celebrate where you are. Remember Who brought you here.

And whatever comes next, carry this testimony:

God was faithful then.
God is faithful now.
God will be faithful again.

It was worth the wait. 🙌🏾

đź’ FINAL DEEP DIVE: What has God brought you through that reminds you He can be trusted with what comes next?

💬 CTA: Comment “HE WAS FAITHFUL” if you can look back and see His hand. 🙌🏾

🔥 DAY 4: WE MOVE FORWARD TOGETHER

đź“– Exodus 14:15 KJV
“Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.”

God didn’t tell one person to go forward. He told the children of Israel.

Some things God does in us individually. But some visions are too big for one person to carry alone.

Moving forward means everybody has a part.

Someone prays. Someone serves. Someone encourages. Someone gives. Someone builds. Someone uses the gift God placed in their hands.

You don’t have to do everything. But you do have something to contribute.

And this reaches beyond church. Families, ministries, workplaces, and communities move when we stop asking, “What will they do?” and start asking, “What is my part?”

We’ve waited. We’ve trusted. Now it’s time to move.

And we’re not moving alone.

We move forward together.

đź’ DEEP DIVE: What has God placed in your hands that could help move the vision forward?

💬 CTA: Comment “I’LL DO MY PART” if you’re ready to move forward together. 🙌🏽🔥

DAY 3: DON’T BE AFRAID TO GO FORWARD

đź“– Exodus 14:13, 15 KJV

Israel was trapped between Pharaoh behind them and the Red Sea in front of them.

Moses said, “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.”

Before they could move forward, they had to stop allowing fear to control them.

Then came God’s instruction: “Go forward.”

Sometimes the hardest step is the one that takes you away from what is familiar and toward something you’ve never experienced before.

You may not know how God is going to make the way. Israel certainly didn’t.

But they didn’t need to know how the sea would open. They needed to trust the God who told them to move.

Maybe you’re standing in front of something today that feels impossible.

Don’t let fear send you backward.

Trust God with the way, and take the next step He has given you.

đź’ DEEP DIVE: What would moving forward in faith look like for you today?

DAY 2: THERE IS STRENGTH IN THE WAIT

đź“– Isaiah 40:31 KJV
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Waiting can make you tired. Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

Isaiah doesn’t promise that God’s people will never become weary. Verses 29–30 actually acknowledge that we do. The promise is that weariness doesn’t have to be the end of your story.

When your strength runs out, God has more.

Wait on Him, and He will renew you.

He gives strength to rise when you thought you couldn’t.
Strength to run when the journey gets long.
Strength to keep walking when soaring isn’t possible.

Maybe you’re still waiting today. Don’t mistake waiting for abandonment.

God is sustaining you while you’re waiting.

đź’ DEEP DIVE: Where do you need God to renew your strength today?

DAY 1: YOU CAN’T CARRY EGYPT FORWARD

📖 Exodus 14:13–15 KJV

Israel had left Egypt, but Egypt had not completely left Israel.

When they reached the Red Sea and trouble appeared, their minds went backward. The place God delivered them from suddenly seemed safer than the future He was leading them into.

We can do the same.

We can enter a new season while still carrying old hurts, disappointments, offenses, failures, fears, and ways of thinking.

But some things cannot cross over with us.

Moses said, “Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.” Then God gave the next instruction: “Go forward.”

There is a time to wait and trust God. But when God says move, we cannot keep looking backward.

DCI, this is bigger than entering a new building. We are entering a new season. We must release what was, embrace the vision, and move forward together.

Our past will not imprison our future!

đź’ DEEP DIVE: What do you need to leave behind so you can fully embrace what God is doing next?

🔥 DAY 5: THE TOWEL IS OUR RESPONSE

Mark 10:45
“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

After a whole week talking about serving, we could leave thinking, “I need to do more.”

But that’s not where Jesus leaves us.

Before there was anything we could do for Him, look at what He did for us.

Jesus says He came to give His life as a ransom. The word lutron referred to the price paid to set someone free.

Jesus didn’t serve us because we earned it. He gave Himself to buy us out.

That changes serving from an obligation into a response.

I don’t serve to earn God’s love.
I serve because I’ve received it.

I don’t pick up the towel hoping God will notice me.

I pick it up because my King picked one up for me.

That’s where Back to Basics brings us: back to Jesus.

✨ Key Thought:
Serving isn’t how we repay Jesus. It’s how we respond to Jesus.

💬 Comment “MY LIFE IS MY RESPONSE” if you want the way you live to reflect what He has done for you. 🙌🏽🔥
