What do we do when life doesn’t go the way we hoped? When we’re worried, afraid, or just don’t know what’s going to happen next? 💭

This Sunday in Springs Kids, we learned from **Paul and Silas** that we can trust God even in the middle of difficult circumstances.

Paul and Silas were sitting in jail, but instead of allowing fear and worry to take over, **they prayed and praised God!** 🙌

Our kids learned that trusting God doesn’t mean everything around us will always be easy. It means we can have peace because we know **God is with us, He cares for us, and He is bigger than whatever we’re facing.** 💛

🌿 **Main Focus:** If you trust in God, you don’t have to worry!

📖 **Power Verse:** “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

💡 **Whatchagaddaknow:** “I Won’t Worry; I Will Trust In God!”

That’s a truth worth carrying into the week! 🙌

Kids Ministry doesn’t always look like a big moment.

Sometimes it looks like sitting on the floor.

Listening to a story.

Remembering a name.

Laughing at a joke.

Helping with an activity.

Praying together.

Or simply being the same familiar face that shows up Sunday after Sunday. ❤️

Those little moments matter.

Because before a child remembers every lesson we taught, they may remember the people who made church feel like a place where they were known, loved, and wanted.

We’re so thankful for our Springs Kids volunteers who keep showing up and investing in the next generation.

This is Kids Ministry. And it matters.

It’s easy to ask, “Did you have fun?” And we absolutely hope they did! We want church to be a place kids LOVE coming to. ❤️

But we also want them to learn that church is about so much more than being entertained.

So what if we started changing the questions we ask on the ride home?

“Did you worship Jesus today?”
“What did God teach you?”
“What did you pray about?”
“Did you sense God’s presence?”
“Did you make a new friend?”
“Did you encourage someone?”
“How can we live out what you learned this week?”

The questions we ask help shape what our kids believe is important.

We don’t just want kids who have fun at church.
We want kids who know how to worship, pray, hear God’s Word, build godly friendships, and participate in the life of the church.

So this Sunday, try changing the question. ❤️

Instead of only asking, “Did you have fun?”

Ask, “What did God do in you today?”

☀️🎉 Summer Kickoff & Move-Up Sunday is Tomorrow! 🎉☀️
We’re excited to celebrate the start of summer together! Tomorrow is Move-Up Sunday, when our incoming Kindergartners move up to Elementary Kids Church and our incoming 6th Graders move up to Youth Student Studies (9am only)

It’s always a special day as we celebrate these milestones and welcome kids into their next ministry stage!

🍧 After service kids will receive a popsicle as we kick off summer together!
