Life isn’t always easy—even when we’re following Jesus. 🧪💥

Jesus never promised us a life without hard days, but He DID promise that we don’t have to face them alone. Because Jesus has overcome the world, we can have peace even when life feels difficult, uncertain, or overwhelming. 🙌

This week in Life Lab, our kids learned that no matter what happens around us, we can trust Jesus and find peace in Him! 💙

🧪 Main Focus: God’s people must learn that this world is full of suffering.

🧪🥼 LIFE LAB: WEEK 1!🔬✨

Our first experiment in the Life Lab was all about JOY!🧪💥

We learned from David that our joy doesn’t have to disappear when things get difficult, when people don’t understand us, or when life doesn’t go the way we hoped.

Why? Because our joy isn’t based on everything around us going perfectly — our joy comes from knowing that GOD IS WITH US!🙌

This week, remind your kids that no matter what kind of day they’re having, they can worship God, trust Him, and find joy in His presence. 💛

Hard times don’t get the final word. 💛

This Sunday in Springs Kids, we learned that God can turn sadness into joy! Life won’t always be easy, and sometimes we’ll face things that make us sad, disappointed, or discouraged. But even in those moments, God is still with us—and He can bring joy right into the middle of our hard times.

We’re praying our kids remember this truth all week long: Hard times may come, but God is with me—and He can bring me JOY! 💛

This week at Springs Kids, we’re talking about something even kids know a little too well… **STRESS!** 😵‍💫

School, sports, friendships, busy schedules, worries—sometimes life can feel like a LOT. But we want our kids to know they don’t have to carry everything on their own.

Jesus gives us an invitation: **“Come to me…”** When we’re tired, overwhelmed, worried, or stressed, we can come into His presence and find the rest and peace we need. 💛

Our **What You Gotta Know** this week says it best:

✨ **“I will come to God’s presence when I feel stressed out!”** ✨

We’re praying our kids learn early what we all need to remember—**when life feels heavy, run to Jesus.** 🙌

What do we do when life doesn’t go the way we hoped? When we’re worried, afraid, or just don’t know what’s going to happen next? 💭

This Sunday in Springs Kids, we learned from **Paul and Silas** that we can trust God even in the middle of difficult circumstances.

Paul and Silas were sitting in jail, but instead of allowing fear and worry to take over, **they prayed and praised God!** 🙌

Our kids learned that trusting God doesn’t mean everything around us will always be easy. It means we can have peace because we know **God is with us, He cares for us, and He is bigger than whatever we’re facing.** 💛

🌿 **Main Focus:** If you trust in God, you don’t have to worry!

📖 **Power Verse:** “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

💡 **Whatchagaddaknow:** “I Won’t Worry; I Will Trust In God!”

That’s a truth worth carrying into the week! 🙌

Kids Ministry doesn’t always look like a big moment.

Sometimes it looks like sitting on the floor.

Listening to a story.

Remembering a name.

Laughing at a joke.

Helping with an activity.

Praying together.

Or simply being the same familiar face that shows up Sunday after Sunday. ❤️

Those little moments matter.

Because before a child remembers every lesson we taught, they may remember the people who made church feel like a place where they were known, loved, and wanted.

We’re so thankful for our Springs Kids volunteers who keep showing up and investing in the next generation.

This is Kids Ministry. And it matters.

It’s easy to ask, “Did you have fun?” And we absolutely hope they did! We want church to be a place kids LOVE coming to. ❤️

But we also want them to learn that church is about so much more than being entertained.

So what if we started changing the questions we ask on the ride home?

“Did you worship Jesus today?”
“What did God teach you?”
“What did you pray about?”
“Did you sense God’s presence?”
“Did you make a new friend?”
“Did you encourage someone?”
“How can we live out what you learned this week?”

The questions we ask help shape what our kids believe is important.

We don’t just want kids who have fun at church.
We want kids who know how to worship, pray, hear God’s Word, build godly friendships, and participate in the life of the church.

So this Sunday, try changing the question. ❤️

Instead of only asking, “Did you have fun?”

Ask, “What did God do in you today?”
