New Hope Pentecostal New Hope New Possibilities Pastor Kenyon W. Thompson was born in Jacksonville, Fl. June 23, 1966. As a child he relocated to the community of Orange Park, Fl.

Where he grew up and developed into the man he is today. Pastor Thompson attended Orange Park high School. He would later join the Marine Corps, where he served our country faithfully for seven years. He was honorably discharged in 1994, after serving in Desert Storm. He would later meet and marry his wife of ten years, Sister Dawn Thompson. They have three children and presently reside in Jackson

ville, Fl., Pastor Thompson answered the call to ministry of the gospel in March of 2002. he returned to the neighborhood where he grew up and loves very much. He is asking that the people of this wonderful community to embrace him and share his vision.

The Clay County NAACP will be participating in the Juneteenth event this year on June 20th. The League of Women Voters Jacksonville First Coast will also be in attendance to provide assistance with voter registration, for which the deadline is July 20th. We welcome the opportunity to see friends, family, teenagers, coworkers, and neighbors at this significant community event. Your participation would be valued. These men publicly condemned an unjustified killing, and we need more community leaders to demonstrate similar courage.
