IMPACT YOUTH EVENT IS TONIGHT!!!!!

We need parents to drive students. Let Faith Hayes know if you're a parent and would be willing to drive.
If you did not sign up, please contact Faith and let her know you're going. We need to make sure your place in a car is reserved.

What a blessing it is to watch God using young women as they lead their peers to a closer walk with Christ. Tonight’s study had 12 girls, 3 adults (including 1 visitor) The young lady’s monthly bible study tonight was a tea party and the study was on Friendships. Proverbs 18:24, 17:17, 18:19, 13:20. The study was a great reminder of how we should set boundaries in our choice of friends by choosing ones that encourage us and our walk with Christ.
The next study is on Thursday, April 6th at Ava Lopez’s house. It will be an outside picnic theme. Please be sure to sign up to attend as well as bring a snack. See the information in the comments.

Hey, Parents and Students! It's Christmas time! We introduced a Christmas project last Wednesday evening during the youth service. Family Promise of Jacksonville is a local homeless shelter that exclusively serves families. Their Christmas gifts have been provided, but we would like to provide stockings for 10 children/teens who are either in or recently out of shelter.

In the comments below, you'll find a list of anonymous children and teens. It includes their ages and a few items they need or are interested in. You'll also find a list of age appropriate stocking stuffer ideas to help you shop!

You can choose to fill a whole stocking, or sign up for a few items. The more participation we have, the lighter the task!

Ideally, we would like to collect the items at the Youth Christmas Party on Friday 12/16. If you need more time, we can take items up until Monday, 12/19. We will need to transport the items to the shelter office that week.

• Sign up to bring a snack or dessert. 👆

• Service Opportunity - sign up to volunteer next Sunday 10/16 after the 10:30 service to stuff Welcome Bags for Trunk or Treat. Lunch provided - we need a headcount.

• We need student volunteers to help with the IMPACT booth during Trunk or Treat. We can rotate so no one has to stay the entire time and everyone can enjoy the day.

This is a busy month with lots of opportunities to get involved and serve! Come get your blessins! 🤩
