LASMarketplace Ministries, a church without walls is excited to share the work the Lord has allowed us to accomplish through him for the month of March 2024.
As we reflect on the month of March, we're reminded of the incredible journey we've embarked on together as a Church Without Walls. Our commitment to serving the community has been unwavering, and we're grateful for the opportunity to share our progress with you. Scripture Reflection:"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." - Matthew 25:35-36. This scripture encapsulates our mission to embody Christ's love through tangible actions within our community.
Highlights from the Past Month:Food Distribution: Through our food outreach ministry, we were able to provide nourishment to over 300 families in need. We recognize that addressing physical hunger is a crucial aspect of demonstrating God's love. Community Outreach: Our outreach programs extended beyond material needs. Our Prison Ministry team dedicated time and served a hot meal to the men at PCI, providing spiritual guidance and emotional support. We believe in the power of redemption and restoration, extending hope to those who need it most.
A big thank you to Pastor Preacher Dawson, Another Chance Ministries, Pastor John Sanders, True Vine Ministries, The Lady Elders of Ruby’s Tribe, Waste Not Want Not and Trader Joe. Looking Ahead:As we look ahead to the coming month, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to serving others. Let us continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to those in need with compassion and grace."Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10Together, let us be vessels of God's love, spreading hope and light in our community and beyond.
