These are some exciting times at Kingsley Avenue. Please join us as we forge ahead into the future. We have upgraded our nursery and have planned several upgrades to the building to make things more comfortable and inviting to our members and guests alike.

Tonight we begin a series of 17 time periods of the Bible. This is a study originally authored by Bob Waldron, and covers the entire bible from Genesis to the final book of Revelations and how they tie into each other. We will go through it three times, each time going a little deeper so as to be able to better understand the material and how we fit in. It proves to be very beneficial and exciting.

We also have Bradley Farkas bringing our Sunday lesson and sermon for the next two weeks. Bradley is an outstanding young man new to the area from Kentucky. Come meet Bradley and his family and join us to hear the word of God.

We had a great bible class this morning and that was followed by a great sermon directly from God’s word delivered by Casey Crosby. We are looking forward to hearing from Alex Szbo next Lord’s day. Bradly Farkas from Kentucky was visiting this morning and he will be preaching the following two Sundays, the 15th and 22nd. Bradley is a great young man with a wife and young son who will be moving to Florida in a couple of weeks.

For those who are following, we have recently had some changes at Kingsley Avenue church of Christ.

First and foremost, Denny Freeman our evangelist has moved on to full time work at a transition house here in Jacksonville. We will miss Denny greatly and know that God will bless the things he does.

Second, we are hosting visiting evangelists for the next few weeks in search of someone to take Denny’s place. We have had Alex Szabo for the last two Sunday’s and have thoroughly enjoyed his teachings, I’m confident he will be back again. On the 1st of August we will be hosting Casey Crosby from Texas and his morning lesson at 9:30 will be “4 words for love in Greek”. The 10:30 sermon topic will be “why does the church exist?”.

Pleas come join us for what I believe will be some wonderful teachings directly from the word of God.

Beginning June 14th we will resume our worship service in the building. This will be worship service only (no classes yet) and will begin at 10:30am. Come join the Christians at Kingsley Avenue this Sunday.
