Instead of New Year resolutions, how about some "heavenly housekeeping"? Pray and open your heart to asking Your Father what He has in mind for you, His child, this year of 2023! God bless! xo

The Battle Against Evil
"When I got saved, I thought I’d spend my life walking beside still waters and lying down in green pastures. I had no idea embracing Jesus as the captain of my salvation meant I was enlisting as a soldier in the army of God.
I’ve since learned that believers are soldiers and Jesus did not come to bring peace but a sword. I’ve discovered that I’m more than a conqueror in Christ, which also tells me ungodly and unseen forces are trying to conquer me.
Keep this truth in mind: the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Every demon has the same mission. How they go about it—their strategies and tactics—are different. A spirit of fear attacks your faith, for example, while a spirit of rejection attacks your identity. Satan is strategic. His army is highly organized, and he is sending specific spirits against believers to derail them from their kingdom purpose.
My prayer is that you will gain discernment to identify spirits opposing your life—and the lives of those you love—and develop spiritual skills to battle back. Spiritual bo***ge can manifest in many ways, but the good news is that victory can be ours. By walking in our God-given authority, we can effectively do battle and win in warfare." “As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. ‘Truly I tell you,’ he said, ‘this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.’”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:1-4‬ ‭
Your gift matters. What we are doing may feel inconsequential or small in the moment, but all that we are doing for Jesus is noticed by him. Giving of our time and our treasure to God is encouraging to our faith, and God sees what we are doing to glorify him. The world may not be noticing, but God sees you and loves to know you are living to honor him 🙏🏃‍♂️💪 (Thanks, Charlie Stinnett)

It's Back to School Time! Whether you have children, grandchildren, or are just diving into your own "fall" schedule, we ask that you pray for our NMM kids and families. The struggle to survive month to month--perhaps week to week- is real for our families. New school clothes or shoes and supplies stretch budgets already pushed to the limit even further! The kids and parents feel it. Hold them in prayer! Give if you can. God has plans for every child and adult He created! God bless you all. xo

I would be deeply humbled if everybody on My timeline that believes in the Power of Prayer would stop what you’re doing, just take a minute, and post this... But I know you ALL won't. Hopefully some will.
Lord, We need You! Please sweep through this nation and Heal this land. Restore Our strength, renew Our minds, and cast out anything that's not of You.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen! 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾

Living a Mission-Possible Life
Scripture gives us one shared, big-picture purpose: to glorify God. That means that as believers, we honor and serve God with our lives, our natural gifts, our resources, our bodies, our worship, and our decisions.
Now, glorifying God doesn’t necessarily mean you have to become a missionary or plant yourself on the other side of the world. Nor does it mean you have to sing worship songs during every waking hour (though if you feel a tug on your heart to do that, go for it!). But it does mean your big-picture purpose is to bring glory to God wherever you are.
Within that greater purpose of glorifying God, you find your purpose in what you do every day. Simply put, purpose is about being mission-driven in your ordinary life.
Living a mission-possible life means executing the good works God has already prepared for you to do. This is what Paul was talking about when he wrote, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
You can live a mission-possible life because of what Jesus did for you on the cross more than two thousand years ago. This kind of life is possible only because of the sacrifice He made and the power given to Him to trample over death. When you live mission possible, you live a life that counts because of what God has done and is doing through you.
When you get tired or overwhelmed or uncertain, don’t forget the moment God changed your life. Don’t forget the moment He challenged you to join the fight. The moment He called you to show His love to the world as no one else can.
If we truly believe in whose we are and know that people are hurting in a dark place, we must feel a sense of urgency to get to them and share with them faith, hope, and love. Does your life show a sense of urgency in what you believe?
If not, what might look different if it did?
What do Jesus’s death and resurrection have to do with your God-given mission today?

How we love our families! Our North Marion Ministry families struggle even more than before--food and gas prices, inflation, utility bill increases. Please pray for our families and individuals as we serve them providing life's necessities and prayers and the Gospel. Support us as you can. "Give and it will be given to you." Luke 6:38

Let this be our motto for 2022--"In Christ alone". As we share the Good News and assist with physical needs, may we keep Christ at the center of all we do and say. No better way to enter a new year to serve and worship our newborn king! God bless xoxox

Humble--born in a stable. No SUV to travel in--just one donkey. Gas prices don't matter. Supply lines won't hold up this precious baby's arrival. And so it is--God's plans and promises are fulfilled in the birth of HIs Son. Poor, unsure housing, and few worldly goods. Perhaps it is the poor among us today who can understand this story best. May God bless you and yours as North Marion Ministries shares food and resources with the poor and humble in our area. Pray as we share the blessed story of the birth of Christ --pray that those we reach will see the need of a Savior who surely understands their needs and provides the most marvelous gift of all. xoxo

Thanks to all those who support North Marion Ministries folks and families both with tangible gifts and prayers. May you and your friends and families spend time thanking the Lord for all His benefits and blessings. God bless you all. You are in our prayers. xoxo
