Transcript of Pastor Josh’s sermon lost during the live.
I love the Lord, collectively, replacing the Constitution with their law. There's no real evidence of it. There's a lot of talk about. A lot of people on the right, they're saying this bu****it, but there's no evidence yet. Yeah. That works. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we must remember something else. We have something, and when we go to sleep every night, you know, we, we have the, the constitution that protects us. Because we do. You know what I'm saying? Religious liberty that allows a Christian to worship just as we are, but also again, it allows other religions to worship in their places with God. Whether it be Ukraine, you can't like it, but that is... The country we live in. I'm grateful that we can come here and worship. We not have to worry. Am Amen. And I'm sure that they are too. I'm sure that they are too. You know, our confidence should not come from, you know, suppressing someone else's religion. Our confidence should come from knowing who we serve. Amen. Okay? Now, America, our country, our little town here, our county, we do not need Christians who are terrified. We don't need that. George, I need you to hear me carefully because fear is not our master. Amen. Amen. Here is not our master. Jesus did not say, when the world becomes bright and crazy, you need to panic. He didn't tell us to do that. No, we all know what he said. Let not your heart be troubled. Amen. Remember that? Let not your heart be troubled. Now, that does not mean that we ignore danger. That does not mean that we need to ignore the evil that's around us. That is not what that is saying. It means that we, Christians, that we face danger differently. We face danger differently because and I love this about that because when you die to yourself and you accept Christ, you know, what else becomes new? When he says you are not new, you also get a new mind. And I love this because if you read the scripture, you study the scripture, God gives you a new brain that we see an evil that the rest of the world can't see. Because it gives us a new mind as well. You know, we don't respond to darkness by becoming dark ourselves. We don't answer hatred with hatred. We don't answer violence with vengeance. We don't answer lies with more lies on top of it. And we don't answer cultural decline by obeying the character of our savior. Amen. If America is in trouble, which I believe that it is, the answer is not for Christian, to become more hateful. That is not the end. The answer is for Christians to become more faithful. Amen true. That's how we stand on talk. We're not. If we become more faithful, you know what, this is the end of something, you know, then let it be the end of compromise. You know, maybe the question shouldn't be, yes, at the end of America. The end of the country that we love and we live. You know, maybe the better question is, you know, what is God calling the church to become while our country is struggling? What is God calling us to become? You know, let the end come to the cowardice that is in this country. Let us know an end come to our silence. Christians are silent. When you need to stand up, you'd be loud with the gospel. You know, let the end come through our indifference, you know, towards children in this country and around the world, let the end come through our content for human life. We need to let Anne come to our willingness, to believe everything that we see on TV, in our loans. We need to let an end come to our hatred of people, you know, that don't look like us or both like us or worship like we do, that hatred, it has to end. You know, we need to let the end come to our. This is the one I love. We need to end our comfortable Christianity. That has to go. That has to go. And we have to let something new begin now. We have to go back to a time where we let fathers be fathers. Let mothers be honored. Let children be protected, Lord, protect our children. We need to go back to a place where churches become a house of prayer again. Amen. We have to let Christian, you know, Christians have to tell the abolute truth and not be afraid of the Christians, or, you know, for the mentally ill, but when I let Christians have been innocent, live, we have to let Christians stand for justice, and we have to let Christian love their neighbors again. No matter who they are or what they look like. And we have to let Christians remember that America itself, okay, America, this land, where we live, that is not our God. We know who our God. Amen. Jesus Christ. is our shape. Next of every, all that. Everything, everything that we see, where we live, the crisis of this world. Jesus gave us a command. He gave us a command, you know, because he knew what we were gonna be. He knew what they were gonna be like this time. He told us, he told us you are the salt of the earth. My children, you are the salt of the earth. you know? Because we know he said that because we know that Saul that it preserves salt influences. We know how many go, like, put soap on all food. I bet dinner with some of y'all know like it. We know that salt that it prevents decay. You know, and Jesus also told us after that that you are the light of the world. Every one of you are a life of the world, every Christian. We are the light in this dark world. Amen. Amen. You see, the church doesn't exist merely to complain about the darkness that's around us. There's a lot of that that goes on. When the church exists to shine in that darkness. That's why the church exists. So if our country is becoming darker, Christian, do you need to shine brighter? Great God. Take your batteries out. Do you have to sign Ryder in this dark world? You know, that families are beginning to break apart. It's Christians that think of build stronger families. You know, Christian, we have to protect our children. You know, when Christians, we do know those that are mentally ill and making, you know, have mental problems. Christians, we need to show them mercy and help them find care the best that we can. God. Barb, government is, if it becomes unjust, and it's up to Christians to stand up and speak the truth. Amen. You know, with false religion, if it starts to gain influence, It's Christians that answer falsehood with truth. If Christians are persecuted, then Christians remain faithful. But through every bit of that, we can never forget this, that our weapon is not hatred. Okay, our weapon is not revenge. Our weapon is true. Our weapon is righteousness, our weapon is prayer, our weapon is love and our weapon is the gospel. Hallelujah. My dear friends. Do not fear the future. Do not fear the future is bleak as it looks. Now, we know over time, it's just a matter of, it's just a fact of life, that things change. America, it may change. Political parties are going to change. Our government, they're going to change people over time, culture, they may change. We know that hit fires, rise and fall. all through history. In fires rise, and they fall, but Jesus Christ does not change. Do every bit of that. Our Savior does not change, and that's one of my favorite promises. I love reading that in the Bible. I don't can't tell you how many times did I have read that verse in Hebrew that Jesus Christ was the same yesterday, today, forever. And that should make every single one of God feel like there's just a ton of bricks living off your shoulders. that our savior will never change. Thank you, Lord. You know, I don't know, know it in here. Truly knows whether America is approaching the end of an error we don't know. Everything changes day by day. Y'all notice that everything seems to change every single day. None of us know, I don't know what tomorrow's head behind are gonna say. I don't know what will happen with that case is happening with that lady. I don't know what will happen in Washington, D.C. tomorrow, in the next few hours, does that seem to change too? You know what? I don't know what's gonna happen to our economy. I'm not an economist. You know? I don't know what will happen to, you know, our culture. But I know this. that God is still God. Christ is still king of gospel is still true. sin is still sin, and grace is still grace. Am And I also know this that the church still has a mission. We still have a mission through all of this. And we do not surrender to fear. We do not surrender to hatred. We do not surrender to despair. As Christian, we have to stand harm in this mess. I don't know if I call it is an absolute mess. We have to pray every day. I'm gonna encourage all the prayer all day long. But every second that you don't have someone to talk to or no one's talking to you, have your conversation with Jesus. I mean, talk to him. As Christians do all this, we have to love. And again, I've said a whole lot of days, but we have to tell the truth. The gospel is the truth. We have to spread the gospel. We are called to spread the gospel. Thank you. As Christian, we have to protect the vulnerable. That's the thing we have to defend justice. We have to care for the broken. We have to praise Christ and we have to. Most of all we have to trust God through all of this. Amen. Because the answer to the nation losing its way is not Christian losing their way with it. The answer is for the people of God to become more faithful again. Then we have to become more faithful to them. And I understand that it's easy, it's easy to get scared or concerned or have a little bit of fear with what's going on. I did, I'll tell you, when I saw those two gentlemen, I had, like, some feelings in my stomach, and I'm like, Oh, no, it's gonna start my little town. We're gonna start. But then I felt a little conviction after that. You know, I did. I felt a little conviction after that, thinking in the box that I called. Because again, I have my opinion... on that, on that particular, you know, religion and what they worship. I will share with y'all, my personal opinion on that is that it's not a religion, it's a political ideology. That's my personal opinion on what they do. I hate the religion, but I love the person. Grateful. I did. I did for those two minutes. Is there a loss by praying that they're found? Also pray, too, that they would not bring that to our little town. You know, we can listen, we live in a really quiet community. It's really easy to become complacent in these little places. We get comfortable in our everyday life, and then we have, we start thinking, you know, they don't want to come here. They're not going to come to this little place. They're not going to infiltrate us. Oh, but they will. They absolutely will. Well, as Christian, we do have to stand on our toes. We gotta stop watching the news so much. We gotta put our bones down a little more. Okay. You're back. Open our Bibles again. Amen. Amen. I'm saying that for myself as well. I'm not standing up here saying that I'm as guilty as the rest of them. Ask anyone that's around me all the time. I was guilty is that as well. Notice me? I'm gonna put this message together, and... Just look at it, just everything that's just going on. And the devil... the devil's having a good time right now. Because he's... It's been made really easy for him to confuse us. It made really easy for him to instill fear in us. Well, I stand here right now, and rebuke him. Amen. Amen. I rebuked it, though. I repeat the devil, for walking through these doors, I rebuked all the little demons and evil that followed the devil. I refuse to catch a bit of it. Thank you. I rebuke. The devil, the evil, then surround each and every one of you. You know, that follows you around every day. You know, because the closer the you get, the God, I'm telling you, the devil's gonna hit you hard. Because that is, the devil cannot afford to lose one more person. You can't afford it. You know, we all think, we all do forget. You know how powerful the name of Jesus is. You know, the Bible tells us that whatever you, all you got to do is speak his name and then turn the demons, they turn around, put their tail between their legs and then run off. Man, we're a great dog. I love that. All you gotta do is speak the name of Jesus and the demon run away. Amen. So first, you have to believe in Jesus. Amen. First, you have to believe in the crucifixion and the resurrection. First, you have to believe that Jesus, the man who was the Son of God, and that he died for your sin. In order for that, if you've got on that ball of you, if you feel the dead, you will following you around and things aren't going right, you're not feeling right. You have to accept Christ as your Lord and save this. You got to die to yourself, die to the world, and fully surrender to him. And then you can turn around and say, I rebuking devil and all your little demon feel away from me. Amen. Amen. That's what we have to do. Thank Then once that happens, then you can start to build your relationship with Jesus. Anyone in here that does not know him, I want y'all to know that, that I said it earlier that he made that promise. He was the same yesterday. He's the same this very second. He's going to be the same tomorrow. Amen. We know that you go, you can go over to Israel, you can walk through the tomb of our Savior, and that tomb is empty. You can go to Ohio, hang him up. You're gonna ride across the boat. You go to Buddha, you're gonna find a box of bones. You can go to any other religious leader, they claim that they were who they were. You're gonna dig it up, it's gonna be a box of gold, but our tune is empty because he's alive and well. Yeah, right. Our savior is at the right end of the father. This very second. you. He hears you. He sees you. He's with you. He may never leave you. That's another promise he made. That door never closes. You're gonna make mistakes. You're gonna trip and fall. You're gonna, you're awful, little bitch. This happens. It's life. You can't beat yourself up over it. But that door never closes, Jesus is constantly saying, come back to me. Just come over a little bit further, a little bit further. Come to me. Thank you. Amen. Amen. So first you got to accept it. He's calling you right now. Each you never want to be. Even though that still believe, that's another thing that we all can forget. You can do all of that that I said. And Jesus is going to continue to call for you. He's constantly telling you, come here, come here. Come here. Talk to me. I know what you need, but I need you to say. Come here. I need you to do something for me, but you need to come here. I have a plan for your life, but you need to come here. I have your way, though, for I want you to know, but you have to come here to me. Seven day. You see, this is our TV in our phone, and we're like, how is this happening? This is crazy. This is scary. What are we gonna do? U it. You stop and listen, Jesus is telling you, stop being afraid I got you. You're gonna be okay. gonna be okay. Oh, my God. Lord, we come before you this morning. And we grieve while we're children. The children that I've endured, Pain and hurt and suffering that we can't even imagine. Yes, no. Lord, we pray for the families who whose lives have been, the shattered and changed that have gone through that. Father, we pray, Lord, that you give wisdom. Father, do those that are responsible for seeking justice for those children that they lost or or whatever that they've gone through. Father, we pray that you give comfort, Lord, to the families in this country that are suffering. Lord, be brave, Lord, did you give wisdom, Lord, to our judges, our leaders, our lawmakers, Lord, our police officers, our doctors, our pastors in this country, don't they? You have chosen to preach your word, that have thought, a stray, Lord, bring them back, Lord, we pray for, once, for our teachers and our parents. Protect our children. Father, strengthen our families for what they were. Lord, give us compassion for those that are suffering, Lord, for mental illness in this country. Lord, give us courage for it to confront evil. Then we are not afraid to confront evil. Evil does not scare us. Evil does not rule us. The devil does not rule us. He has no control over us. Give us wisdom, Lord, to distinguish truth from fear. Keep us from hatred toward our neighbors, Father. Help us defend, Lord. We have a religious freedom in this country, Lord, and we thank you for that. Lord, help us protect that Lord. You know, the rule of law without becoming people of bitterness. And Lord, if our nation is in danger, Lord, begin them, you know, the renewal in us. But we ask you now, Lord, to renew your charge, renew our homes, our commitment to truth, our courage, Lord, to renew our love. Above everything else, Lord, turn our hearts back toward you, Jesus. Turn our hearts back towards you. Lord, we thank you, Lord, we thank you so much. Praise you. I think it's so easy to forget, and to take for granted, that the strength that Jesus can give us. He gives us that strength. The wisdom. The guidance. That navigates us through this world that we live in right now. It's Jesus that does that. Oh, forgive us of our sins. Beautiful. Forgiver, you are hard, sword, and our neighbors, those people that have hurt us in the past, Lord, that we truly forgive them. We don't just say it. It's easy to say, I forgive you. Renew our hearts to forgive those people. Renew our minds. No, we have armor to protect us from all this mess. We need to wear it. We need a helmet, we need the press plate. We need the light protective. We need every bit of it. Your words, oh, Lord, your word. That's our sword. When everyone in here realize that, that God's word, that's our soul. Because evil's running at us, you know how you see the movies, you know, when they're a whole movie where they're flashing on a horse and sword and they're just mowing people down. That's what the Bible does for us against evil. Thank you for your word. Thank you. Father, thank you for your grace and your mercy that you show us every day. Thank you, Father, for your promises. Then that door never closes. Father God, I pray anyone in here. Who's on the wrong side of that door, Lord, that they walk through this very set? God, to yourself. Dive to the world and surrender yourself to Jesus this very set. you. Don't procrastinate. Life is not promised outside his goal. You can take your last breath at any moment. That's one thing, if it's too late, then it's too late. Heaven and hell is real. Jesus is real, the resurrection is real. It happened. Our savior is alive and well, and we patiently wait for his return, right? Live your life. As if you have a bad path. And if you believe he's coming tomorrow. Lord, protect us from false teaching. Protect us, Father, from the fault of what we see, Lord. The things that we see that are that are evil, things that we see that can that can pull us away from you or protect us, protect our eyes from that. So that it doesn't affect us. No, Lord, we have more to be thankful for than we have to be on. You bless us, Lord, even you get day every day blessing after blessing after blessing. Lord, forgive us, Lord, for not realizing that, Lord. We do thank you. Lord, we pray for rain. Lord, we pray for those that lead us. Lord, I pray for all the churches in this country. Lord, I pray for all the pastors that stand behind the pulpit, Lord. Father, I pray, Lord, the ones that aren't speaking truth, the ones that are afraid to speak truth, Lord, the ones that are more concerned with building seeds and fill in the bucket, Lord, I pray, Lord, did Jesus give them a feeling of conviction that they know the wrong that they're doing? They change their hearts, to speak the truth again. Father, we love you so much. Yes, ma'am. Father, ask this special blessing for each and everyone here today. Lord, watch over them throughout the week, Lord. Speak through them, use them, or just vessel, or use us. Use us to further your will. Everything we do is for your will. It don't matter if you're sweeping a war or if you're trying to change your country. just caught up for your will. Thank you. Oh, my God, we love you, we trust you, and it's about Jesus' name and we pray. Amen. Am.
