The church can get the “order of service right” and still miss the point!

Church, the danger is not that God has become less glorious. It is that we have become hardhearted to His glory.

WE WHO HAVE RECEIVED a kingdom that cannot be shaken should worship like we know who our King is.

Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

A simple prayer for the start of Lent.

Sit with this verse today.
Read it slowly.
Pray it honestly.

God is not looking for perfection.
He is looking for a surrendered heart.

As you sit in remembrance today, be reminded that this life is temporary. Genesis 3:19 says “For you are dust and to dust you shall return.”

In a culture that constantly strives to build little kingdoms here on earth, Ash Wednesday reminds us that we are finite, fragile, and completely dependent on God. What a beautiful illustration of his love for us.

The time is near in four days, history shifted. Pure, untainted, and sacrificial love was lifted high on a cross, stretching its arms wide to embrace a broken world… three days later, that same love shattered the silence of the grave! Triumphing over death, hell, and the grave. This is not just a story. In fact it is the cornerstone of our hope, the anchor of our souls. Join us this Resurrection Sunday at 10AM! Where we will celebrate our Risen King, Jesus Christ, our victorious Savior!
