As you sit in remembrance today, be reminded that this life is temporary. Genesis 3:19 says “For you are dust and to dust you shall return.”

In a culture that constantly strives to build little kingdoms here on earth, Ash Wednesday reminds us that we are finite, fragile, and completely dependent on God. What a beautiful illustration of his love for us.
