Emmaus Lutheran Church ELCA Orange City FL Emmaus Lutheran Church is a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). Emmaus Lutheran Church began as a small mission congregation in 1979.

A Charter Roll was opened in September 1979 and three months later was formally organized by Dr. Yount, then president of the Florida Synod. Emmaus remains a member of the Florida-Bahama Synod today. The current church was completed in 1983. Emmaus is a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Church of America). The church offers two weekend services, Saturdays at 5:00 PM and Sundays at 10:00 AM. Services are streamed online as well. In addition there is an Adult Bible Study at 11:00 AM which meets in Fellowship Hall as well as on Zoom. While the congregation, may be slightly older it is very active and community minded offering a Food Pantry on Tuesdays and a Stephen Ministry to assist those in crisis. We are always looking to welcome families that are looking for a friendly church and bring new ideas that will help us grow as a church and an asset to the community. There is a privately run preschool on the campus, Emmaus Lutheran Preschool which operates year round.
