As our farmers have begun the harvest season, let us keep them in prayer, especially praying to their patron, St. Isidore the Farmer, for a safe, fruitful, and joyous harvest season!

Below is “A Prayer of a Christian Farmer”:

‘O God, Source and Giver of all things, Who manifests Your infinite majesty, power and goodness in the earth about us, we give You honor and glory.

For the sun and rain, for the manifold fruits of our fields, for the increase of our herds and flocks we thank You. For the enrichment of our souls with divine grace, we are grateful.

Supreme Lord of the harvest, graciously accept us and the fruits of our toil, in union with Christ Your Son, as atonement for our sins, for the growth of Your Church, for peace and charity in our homes, for salvation to all. Amen.’

Our first Bosco Night will be this Sunday, August 30th, at the Guardian Angel School gym! All 1st through 6th grade boys from Guardian Angel and St. Ambrose (and their dads!) are invited to come! We’ll begin at 5:00pm with some sports and games, will have some delicious pizza, and some faith formation! We will conclude by 6:30. Hope to see you there!

On Thursday, August 20th, the first day of school, Guardian Angel celebrated Holy Mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession into our school, during which Fr. Kelly blessed each classroom with the Blessed Sacrament!
