📣 GOOD NEWS, WESTVIEW! 🙌⛪

We will be having church tomorrow! We are so thankful for the Lord’s protection during the storm and for His goodness and faithfulness through it all. ❤️🙏

Please continue to join us in praying for everyone affected by the storm, as well as all the first responders, linemen, and crews who are working hard to clean up debris, repair damage, and restore power and services. May the Lord give them strength, safety, and encouragement as they serve our communities. 💙

We look forward to gathering together to worship and give thanks to the One who is always faithful!

Westview family. We are trying to assess needs in our church family from the recent hurricane. If you or someone you know has a need, we would like to know. Day 10-Joel 2:12-13

"Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster. Joel 2:12-13

The Lord is calling His people to return to Him. This is not just an outward turning that seems to be real, but a true turning where God’s people return to Him.

Joel says, to “return with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” There is a grief over our sin that it has caused a separation between us and God. Repent and know that God is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. Know that when you repent and return to God, you will find blessing.

Ask the Lord to help you return to Him and continue following Him as your Lord and Savior.

Westview family. We are monitoring the weather and are making sure that we know how to help if there are any needs from the storm. Our Covington Baptist Disaster Relief will be on call if there are any needs.

If you have any damage, trees needing moved or cut, any other kind of disaster relief, or any prayer needs, please submit that to the following link: https://westviewbaptist.com/prayer-request

We are not sure what the storm will do, but we are trusting in our Lord.

We will monitor the after effects of the storm and will give guidance on all services at Westview.

As of now, we WILL have church on Sunday morning and evening. Be safe and we’ll see you soon.
